    Hotel near Airport with terrible service

    I stayed at Sheelas Guest House due to reason it is located near the Airport as at 4AM I must go for my flight to Andamans. I am not a very choosy traveller therefore not complaining about missing few things may be. But my expierence about this hotel became terrible. And the story is... During my check-in I asked in reception about possibility to arrange some transport to get to Airport at 4 AM. And they assured me to provide the car from hotel for 150 INR just for 2 kms, but I agreed. They promised me to give a wake-up call at 3.30 AM and the car will be ready for me at 3.45 AM. So I felt everything will be ok, packaged my travel bags as per airport and went to bed. Nobody gave me a wake-up call, but I was not dissapointed as I always get out of bed just from my alarm. After 15 min I went down to reception will all my travel bags, but... there was not any person at the reception and more what I realized the iron door gates are locked!!! So I was looking around where may be somebody is sleeping, trying to open nearest doors, looking at every corner, walking through restaurant, found there 2 big dogs starting barking at me, but nobody got wake-up from that novice. Then I started to check all the donors of hotel rooms also, some were locked, some empty, and all the time I was shouting: „Is there anyone???”. Felt like I am already missing my flight together with all my one week holidays in Andamans... Checked all 4 floors till the rooftop, but nobody... and at the end some elder man got out some room and speaking to me in bengali what I dont understand, but at least he understood my despair and he knew to whom call at that night time. Appeared 2 sleepy boys and opened the gate... I am so much thankful to that old man who helped me to get out of this jail, and I said him so much sorry for distrubing night sleep. I hope also hotel manager will read this review and understand what happened that night, how their given promise was not kept and how one foreigner lady got in such a stress. It was so terrible expierence!!!... More

  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
