    To begin with, let me first state that Shalom actually rejected a negative review which I posted on popular online travel site. This is what I wrote, and reiterating once again here. "Booked Shalom through travel website(name hidden due to confidentiality). Got confirmation of booking for one night. The day before I was about to leave, I called up just to make sure things are okay, and to my astonishment, the person over the phone simply denied the confirmed booking. I also got a reply saying its not their problem, and I should take it up with the travel booking site instead of calling them up. The woman over the phone was extremely rude and I found it quite contrary to the reviews which stated apparently that Shalom was a "good hotel". Next comes the real challenge when I had to call up the customer care each time, and giving each of the executives a hell lot of explanations and background of the story. Please note all this was done in the midst of a road trip that I was taking from Bangalore to Goa, and I had to stop my bike every now and then to sort things out. I also found that other websites were showing vacant rooms in Shalom, but since booking was to be made during the Goa bike festival that was taking place at that point of time, Shalom deliberately denied bookings in order to make more money for increased demands.     it's a beautifulplace with well maitained garden &lots of positive energy. .. best place for couples&families.calm &cool place even in summer.very close to beach. Good hospitality of owners.room rent is comparatively cheaper than other hotels... More

    Walking into the gardens of Shalom felt like a home away from home. Location is excellent, close to the beach, a few good restaurants and some stores. Julia and her husband are very kind and helped me out when I had issues. The room was very big, just a shame I couldnt get the tv to work. The beds and bathroom are good, the only thing I missed in the room was more natural light.... More

    Close to everything including a 5 min walk to the beach. The price was good as was the room....super clean. Very Quiet too. Nearby is massage, restaurant and general store with the taxi stand right outside. Shalom is situated in beautiful gardens.... More

    I stayed here for a month. The guest house is surrounded by a beautiful well-kept garden, is very very clean and the rooms are quite large and confortable. The couple Who run it is very friendly and helpful. The highlight is the position cause its 2 steps from the sea and all the restaurants and clubs in the area are within easy walking distance. Shalom Guest House is a family run guest house based in Ozran, Vagator Goa. It offers self-contained rooms for an awesome stay and is at 2 mins from the famous Ozrant beach. Shopping facilities, restaurants and vehicle facilities in the form of bikes/taxis are available within walking distance from the property.


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 10 AM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
