    Very good location, all view points are near by. Staff is very helpful. I asked for a cake in midnight and they arranged everything beautifully. Rooms and bathroom are average quality, it can be improved a little. Also one can hear noise from corridors in night, if some one is brawling.... More

    WORST HOTEL OF INDIA!!

    The room we checked in was supposed to be the best with flies all over the place .We asked the manager and they sent us a saucer full of oil and flies which they said is a special FLY SUCKING OIL however we agreed and even after sometime did not find any fly getting sucked .We complained to Make My trip and they very promptly gave us an offer to change the room and give us complimentary breakfast . The cause of the flies was there was a Bakery below us which was frequented by the flies and if you chance to open the window ...the FLIES would be the unwanted intruders in your room . The nightmare started after that ,the Intercom stopped working even after repeated complaints that was not fixed the manager kept saying yes we will see etc etc.then finally he said the person is on leave and there is only one person who does this job ....very nice excuse.In the middle of the night we never realised that the Toilet door has jammed and my son was stuck inside we could not neither call nor open the door ,there was nobody at the reception and my son was stuck inside .After much pushing and shoving we could manage to open the door .The tea given in the morning was very close to bitter poison imagine and that too in OOTY which is meant to be the hotbed for the best tea . Absolutely no ventilation ...the rooms are DINGY ,STINKING with absolutely NO VENTILATION .You cant open the windows or the Flies come in and you cant have any ventilation whatsoever .Upon telling the manager his reply was SORRY SIR NO FANS IN OOTY.Badly designed beds with outward protruding leg area of the bed so if you get up in the night to relieve yourself, you will fall definitely . When we shared our experience with the manager A standard reply WE SHALL LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND IMPROVE. When we were served noodles we were given spoons so we requested for forks the waiter replied please eat with spoons and after much cajoling only they brought the spoons. Highly avoidable hotel !!!please don't waste your money here .... More

    First time we stayed... The Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Room service also good. The location of the hotel is at center of the city. Hence it was easy for us to reach all the tourist places. Shopping place is also inbuilt with the hotel. We would like to stay in Sarkar Palace on my next visit...... More

    My husband and I went for a trip to Ooty. We happened to stay at Sarkar Palace. We had really good and fantastic experience. Room service, food, patience, atmosphere, interior, climate, discipline, safety were all entirely tremendous. Would love to visit again.... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience.   9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
