Really nice hotel
on Jan 9, 2020
Traveling across the country on a bicycle put me in Somerset for a night of rest.
This hotel is large and very modern from the outside and inside as well. It is located near many stores and places to eat.
The young lady at the front desk upon my checkin had a smile and was very welcoming to me and got me checked in super quick.
My room was very large, very well laid out, and spot on clean and comfortable. I did not eat or really do much on the property as this was a rest stop. After a very good nights sleep i was pedaling away the next morning.
I would absolutely stay here again!
Needed a place last minute

I was in town because my dad was in hospice care, and I needed to stay overnight. I googled hotels near me, and came across this one. I am so glad I did! From the time I walked in the door the front desk clerk was so kind. She could see I was exhausted and upset. She spoke very kind words and helped us get some food delivered. It was after 10pm. The entire hotel was exceptionally clean and welcoming. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable the sheets were very soft and and it was very quiet. It was a great end to a very long emotional day. Highly recommend.

In the words of Charles Barkley, TURRIBLE. Thanksgiving holiday. Two rooms. Two nights. No housekeeping because they don’t work (here’s a tip: if you don’t want to work on a holiday, don’t work in hospitality) but there were towels at the front desk which is very “Motel 6” of them, but no one bothered to tell us. BonVoy combined two of my accounts and we ended up being charged for four rooms instead of two. Christian was the only bright light. He took care of that and I am grateful he was there. You can’t even get a cup of coffee. You have to go to a counter and order food and coffee in the mornings. There were a minimum of 15 people in line every morning. If you want a simple cup of coffee, get in your car and drive to Amon’s bakery. I did. And I was back, parked and getting on the elevator and would of still been 9th in line. This hotel is partnered with the Center for Rural Development. Embarrassing. Just don’t stay there. Hampton Inn. Go there. There is always coffee at the ready and towels in your room with actual housekeeping. I want my money back.
first time stay

Very nice, modern hotel. The courtyard on the backside is very nice to seat and relax during the evening however the fire pit gas igniter needs to be fixed.. the gas would come on and not light and the smell of propane was almost too much. we got it lit by throwing a lit match on the pit. The other than that was a disappointment is the bistro does not serve decaffeinated coffee - only the coffee maker in the room had decaf - bad deal..
booted during our stay

Our family was able to snag a room at the last minute during Master Musicians Fest, our first night was great. The evening staff is pleasant and helpful with directions, showing us amenities, even saving us a few bucks on our room. We decided to stay a second evening and booked online directly with the hotel (no third party), we had a reservation #, confirmation email, and thought we were good to go. Only to be told in the morning by the day time staff that we would need to check out because they had double booked. So my husband, our two children, and I were booted from our room for guests who hadn’t even arrived yet. We asked if we could at least have a late check out so that we didn’t have to rush to pack and rest for a bit, the answer was no. We literally asked for an extra 30-60 mins. To top it off the housekeeper came knocking before check out time trying to get in to clean the room. Excuse me! No! I was going to stay and pack/rest every last minute I had seeing as we had no where else to go and it’s the middle of July. We can’t exactly go for a stroll in the park right now.
