    i stayed in sam hotel ,E582 , Greater kilash , new delhi, India, from 23 Oct to 26 Oct 2017. case id 3232297,booking YSGR5096. OYO 5270 the hote is below par and should not be rented the undermentioned problems were faced by me 1. NO FAN No fan in room . 2.AC Not WORKING An ac exists and when i checked in , the ac could not be switched on . The remotes for the AC did not work , inspite of the remotes being changed from other rooms.AC is not powerful enough for the room . 3CHANGE OF ROOM Once room wa allotted i was asked to change the room 5.CURTAIN IN ROOM the shades /curtain only covers hlf the window and there is a gap in the window from where everything is visible to the outside. 6. GENRATOR . there is no generator in the hotel . Once electricity loadshedding is there it is unbearable in room. 7LIFT. The lift in the hotel did not work for the 3 days i was there . Other guests said that he lift was not working for 3 days prior as well . 8.FRIDGE no fridge was available in the first room .The room i was shifted to had a fridge but i did not work . 9CLEANING OF ROOM inspite of giving room key to front office and being out from 8.30 am to 1 .30 pm Am rooms were not cleaned nd when i returned at 1.30 pm they sent staff to clean the room 9.TAP NOT WORKING. The hot water tap was not workig . they tried to repair it but it did not work and all taps shower hose water started flowing. Finally they gave me a pipe wrench to operate the Taps in the bathroom. 10MONEY UPFRONT which hotel takes money upfront, especially after booking the hotel giving full details of credit card and proof of address etc , but i as forced to pay in cash the money upfront. I realised that this practice was done since they were scared the guests would vacate the hotel if they ddnt take the money seeing the standard of the room . 11. TEA AND MINERAL WATER. The coplimntary tea and mineral water was not made available , on calling reception they made one available on payment (later not chrged gainst my bill) . 12CUPS and GLaSSES not washe in rooms and repalced each day 13. HANDLE OF BATHROOM the hndle of the bathroom was broken and would sip out each time the door was opened or closed 14PREPARING THE ROOM FOR GUEST. No care has been taken to prepare the room for the rrival of the Guest. OYO keeps sending sms and emails but whats the use if the room was not cleaned and prepared for the guests. once the guests arrive there is no point preparing the room. 15 STALE FOOD The stale food from the previous night are littered in the pasage ways and not cleaned til 12 the next day , thereby the passages and corridor stinks of stale food , since its not cleaned by hotels taff 15 COMPLAINTS on complaining to the hotel and OYO , they promptly asked me to change the room, OYO went on to suggest that i change my hotel on my expense and my time . OYO also sent me a number of sms and trying to apologize without any forarding any tele numbers of relationship managers the staff try to help but they do not have the wherewithall to help hotel may pl be blacklisted so as to not cause other customers inconvenience...     I never knew this hotel was under OYO as there is no OYO board or logo in this hotel. The hotel is in GK2 on the main road and is very easy to find, I went to the hotel as a walkin and staff was very friendly as well as elegant. Initially i faced some issue with the service may be because of a party going in the property, we had a may i help you card in which there was GM's number and some oyo AGM number. As i was not able to contact the GM i called the oyo person's number and within seconds my problem was solved. There was also a manager from oyo who came to meet me and solved my issues, along with that the OYO AGM called me to check whether my complaint was solved and also met me in the morning before i checked out. The quick services provided were helpful and I would book from oyo next time, this is a reasonable and must visit place.... More

    Been here multiple times. Really good service at convenient price. The staff is good and helpful. Though had a slight trouble whole checking in where the wrong key was handed over but it was rectified real quick. The rooms are small and clean. Washrooms are also tidy. Overall a good deal.... More
