An average stay at good location
on Aug 27, 2017
We had made a sudden plan for Lonavala early in the morning and since it was a peak season, it made sense to pre-book a hotel. After checking across multiple travel portals, this was only option narrowed down after taking into consideration the budget and location as per the map provided. The map came came out to be accurate and the hotel is exactly where it was marked. We arrived at the hotel at around 5pm and within 10 minutes we were taken to our room. The reception seemed very classy and the manager was sober as well. We had booked the ground floor room as that was the cheapest available for Rs 2100. Once we entered the room, though it looked good at one glance but the damp smell was everywhere due to heavy rains. We had to keep the room open for half an hour to get rid of some smell. The bedside table and telephone over it was covered with monsoon fungus. The bedsheet had stains. AC and TV were working fine. Since we had selected ground floor room, there was nothing to look outside for. The resort has a garden park for children and a swimming pool also. Since it was already raining heavily, we didnt try exploring much in the resort. They also have an inhouse restaurant and parking facility is also good. The location of the hotel is good as it is not much far from the main market but far enough from the choas. It is recommended to book this hotel only if you have own bike/car as finding autos from here wud be a task. Overall it was an average stay for the price paid.
Needs a lot of improvement!!

Stayed yesterday for a night with the family booked a room for 3 adults plus one. Room is spacious however lacks in a lot of areas. Firstly the rate we paid did not include breakfast as per the hotel breakfast is included on weekend rates only even though we're paying 4.5k for a night.
Housekeeping is pathetic!! We had previously stayed here a year ago and the place has drastically gone down in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. The dustbin in the room was filthy had a layer of dust, the shower has a glass partition which was not even cleaned properly. Broken and chipped cups with the TCM facility and for a room of 3 only 1 cup placed.
The extra mattress we asked for was torn and in bad condition. The bedsheets were stained with red spots looked like blood or what I'm unsure but I think it was not changed since the last guest checked out.
Room service slower than the pace of a snail. Had to call up twice to follow up on a sandwich.
Overall it was a huge let down and I don't think so we'll ever book back again here! The pics I've attached says it all.

Well we didn't stay there. Thank God for that. But my first impression on entering was - "unkept resort". We wanted to visit their restaurant so when we went inside we got to see the swimming pool side which was all dirty and unkept. The restaurant manager wore a crushed shirt and was in a hurry. He even asked us to order very quick and hence not giving us even minimum time to think over our order. The only thing good was the tea served. Else,I regret having spent my money there.
