Old Haveli in the process of being redone with big clean rooms
on Dec 3, 2017
Huge, and very clean rooms that have been redone in an old rajasthani way. The pictues are accurate, our room looked like the one in the photos. This is an old haveli, which is still in the process of being redone. Some areas are super cute and redone, and others are still work in progress. The location on google maps is correct, its in the old city, so easy to get to Hawa mahal area and also to Amer Fort - location wise was great. Its more of an airbnb than a hotel, cozy, home like, but no daily cleaning with small staff though. So if you are wanting a more hotel experience, then you may be dissapointed. The breakfast was delicious, bathrooms were clean. Internet was spotty though and the AC wasn't working well even though they tried to fix it many times. The staff was very responsive and warm.
A Very Interesting Experience

This hotel is in a really remote part of Jaipur and it took forever for the cab driver to find it. As I entered, I saw people doing their laundry in the courtyard and I was certain I was in an old apartment block. I saw a bell, rang it and a bit later an elderly man showed up assuring me I was in the right place. He took me to a spacious, even palatial room and then moments later someone came with refreshments. Nice, friendly touch. This beautiful haveli house is ancient and in need of a little TLC but it's still comfortable enough. Climb up onto the roof for a spectacular place to watch the sun go down over Jaipur. My only real gripe is the price per night which I feel is too high for what it is. I've stayed in much nicer haveli's for half the price. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my time here and would recommend it.
A Beautiful Place

This place was very beautiful and there was a lot of space in each room, so we could have slept more than two people to a room. I think the only downside was the shower didn't really have a stall or anything, so the water got everywhere. Other than that we had a wonderful time and the staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Delightful, warm and homely Haveli

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here! The owner Sanjay is an excellent host with nothing being too much trouble. The Haveli is a true oasis in a busy city and drinking tea in the hidden garden was a real delight. The room was excellent with well equipped bathroom. Some parts of the Haveli are being restored very sympathetically but there was no impact on our stay. Saba Haveli is a gem of a place. We ate in different areas of the hotel which was lovely, with tasty food and plenty of it.
Thank you for a great stay!

Large beautiful bedrooms -a feeling of splendour- roof terrace excellent for eating and having a drink - lovely large garden where you can have breakfast- the owner could not have been more helpful and kind and his staff were really great - we were sorry to move on -with our delicious packed lunch for our onward journey There was a mosque nearby so there was a call to prayer but to be honest we slept through it each morning- would go back
