A good hotel but in a remote area
on Apr 2, 2018
This hotel is rated as 5 star but I would rate it as 3 star, it says there are different restaurants but there was only one, the food was served outside on a couple of nights but it was still the same food, the chef was amazing as I need a gluten free diet and he would walk round with me to let me know what I could eat or he would cook me something separate. Joseph who cleaned our room did an excellent job but the room was in need of some attention as the curtains were old and tatty and the bathroom needs decorating. The pool attendants were really good to us, but there are some badly cracked tiles in and around the pool and a lot of green algae that needs cleaning off. It was easy to walk through to the beach which is a beautiful beach. But the area of Utorda is a very quiet area

Although this hotel advertises this as a 5 star hotel I would say this nearer a 3 star hotel the meals are all primarily typical Goan food all very nice but would have liked to see more westiernised food on the menu we were on an all inclusive basis but they are very unclear of what's included and what isn't the staff are very attentive , the pool is very noisy with loads and loads of ignorant guests making loads of noise but apart from this wasn't too bad on the whole
Chill out Time

We spent 15 days touring India from Delhi to Mumbai and this was our last venue before flying home. The hotel is quiet and well organised with great food selection, beer and great beach access (we were all inclusive). We stayed in 218 which had great views and not overlooked inclusive of A/C an absolutely :must have: as the temperature was 30 Degrees (champion). Franskina and Nilufer were a delight to know and as with most of the staff that we met they couldn't do enough for you, well done to all and thank you
Perfect getaway for a quiet family outing

Located away from the hustle and bustle of North Goa, this resort provides the perfect privacy sought by young couples with children. The USP of the resort is the attached beach and the abundance of shacks serving mouth watering sea food. The pool is definitely one of its kind with a drinks counter around the corner. It also boasts of sporting facilities including a giant chess board. The food (specially the breakfast spread) is definitely filling. The location of the resort makes it the first choice for travelers seeking privacy as well as intending to soak in the fun. A few uber class restaurants are also nearby (within a radius of 3 Kms) making it an ideal getaway.
