    Even the best of resorts can come part in its seams during the peak season. With the Christmas Eve dinner later that day, service at lunch time was a mess in the restaurant. Otherwise, it was a peaceful, relaxing holiday with family. The layout of the resort is very friendly; the access to the beach neat; the walkway around the resort sufficient. The pool and lawns are also well maintained. The rooms are large and airy, the glass doors being kind of a pain though.... More

    Average nothing great except the beach is walkable

    We stayed in the lake view room. The room size and bathroom size was good however the property didn't feel very clean. The furniture polish was wearing off and the floor of the bathroom didn't feel clean at all, considering how much they are charging for the rooms. The furniture looks good in picture but the quality is compromised. There s an open area attched to the bathroom which is laid with pebbles. It had a smell that came thru in the bathroom. There isn't anyway you can shut that area out of bathroom. The layout of the property is good however there isn't anything extraordinary. The buffet for dinner and breakfast had a huge spread however we could only pull out very few things to eat. The quality and taste of food was ordinary. We love to eat simple food so not that we found it plain. But somehow it lacked taste and quality in preparation. The property has backwater lake on one side and the beach in the other so you can comfortably enjoy the day around. The beach is very clean and that area is watched over by le pondy. The staff somehow lacks enthusiasm though they are courteous. I mean when you ask for something you know it will take a lot of time We paid 200 for car cleaning but the inside of the car was still left untouched.     Excellent quiet location on the beach

    My wife and I spent 2 nights there recently while were visiting the Chennai area. The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area just south of Pondicherry. The rooms are standard size and beds quite comfortable. The beach front for the hotel is clean and quite pleasant to walk, swim, etc. morning or evening (when its not so hot). Nice pool by the wonderful wall-less, open restaurant which provides a great selection of dishes during evening buffet. Most noteworthy: personalized service and assistance (esp for ala carte selections) from the soft spoken but wonderfully efficient V. Balamurugan (aka "Bala"), the F&B Executive. Thanks also to the courtesy and service by "Lucky". Bala and his kind assistance in preparing wonderful fish dishes for us during dinner was the highlight of our stay at Le Mondy. (Thanks very much Bala and Lucky!) Most unpleasant: lack of attentiveness, poor service and attitude of the front desk staff (we did provide our comments with specific issues to the front desk manager). Overall: pretty good hotel.despite our displeasure with the front desk service.... More

    A thoroughly disappointing experience

    We were very much looking forward to lunch here and caught the boat from Chunnambar Boat House to Paradise Beach. We walked 10 minutes down the sands, helpfully guided by the beach security to Le Pondy. We arrived at the gate to disapproving looks and were told that we couldn’t take the path a few metres to the restaurant from that gate and would instead have to get the boat back again (25 minutes) and then walk a further 20 minutes to the hotel main entrance. This when we could see the dining area and guests were walking back and forth to the beach through the gate. Fine to have ‘rules’ but ones as daft as this are hard to appreciate, not least when we were turned away so dismissively. V disappointing.... More

    Spacious room, pleasant staff, mediocre food, beautiful grounds and beach

    We stayed one night, arriving early afternoon. Our room was spacious and clean with a pleasant view of the estuary. We enjoyed a walk on the clean beach but had to be back before sunset. Breakfast was OK although the fact that there were many parts of the hotel, especially around and the restaurant building, where maintenance had been started and then left giving an air of shoddiness.... Royal Heritage Resort is located in Goa. Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
