    Awful way to start our trip to India

    We had a room booked for 1 night (12pm - 12pm). Our flight arrived early hours of this morning which the hotel knew. They had told us that if we wanted to check in straight away, we’d need to book a room for the night before too. Being on a small budget, we said we couldn’t afford to do this and would wait in reception until our room was available. We never heard back from the hotel so assumed this was ok. When we arrived, the gentleman on reception was very abrupt and rude. I appreciate it was 5am but that’s not our fault. He literally sat us down and said ‘you check in now and then you have to check out at 12pm (7hours in the room)’ or ‘check in now and pay 50% more to keep the room until later’ or ‘if you want to wait until 12, you can’t wait here’. It was 5am, he had not responded to my email stating we’d be waiting around to tell us we weren’t able to do that. What did he expect us to do?! We have another flight booked this evening so we’ll be checking out the same day so we’d of had to pay for 2 days of rooms to have it for just over 12hours? To make matters worse, the room was empty anyway so he could of allowed us to go in at his discretion but chose not to. Poor customer service and not a nice way to start our first trip to India. Hopefully not everyone is like this. Needless to say we left and walked around with our luggage at 5am to find somewhere else more accommodating. Would not recommend. ... More

    Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in and say farewell to India whilst waiting for our flight out of the country. Amazing host and staff, homely feel and comfort. Really great selection of food delivery at very reasonable prices. Kind enough to pick us up from the airport and also plan our drop at ungodly hours in the morning. Can't praise or recommend this great accommodation enough if you're looking for a place to rest between flights or simply stay in Chennai. ... More

    Stayed there with my family members only for one night : 7/10/2017. Pros: i) Good location, very near to air port ii) Excellent service iii)Very cooperative staffs iv) Budget stay v) Free airport drop vi) Good Rooms-homely atmosphere Cons: Not a big property, suitable for short stay, no restaurant though they serve foods at room at reasonable price. Hotel Check-in Time is 24 hours, Check-out Time is 12 AM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
