    Worst hotel in Goa

    Riverside recency is the worst hotel in goa, and one one the worst I have ever been so long. Rooms were untidy and we haved to use a bucket-shower, 'cause the real shower doesn't worked. Also the water was brown and smelled weird. Fanny was broken. The hotel is full of drunk russians, swimmkng in tha pool all-naked. "Free breakfast" was accualy just one bread and a cup of tea.     This hotel is very near to Baga beach at just 1 km of distance. You can see Baga bridge from the hotel room. Breakfast is not complementary. Even the water bottle is chargeable. Nothing is complementary in this hotel. But the view from the room is really mesmerizing. In night you can go to pub's at Baga & those are very near to the hotel. Food is little bit costly. They also have the facility of swimming pool. Hotel staff is customer friendly. This is an average hotel to stay with the family.... More

    Been there in December 2014 during christmas and got my pocket damaged a bit high since it was seasontime. nice property. there are a lot of nearbuy eateries. rating it as 3 star because the staff isnt really bothered about anything and needs improvement else would have rated 4 stars.... More

    @Cleanliness: Our rooms were always clean.. had stayed for 4 days... @Location: Pretty close to Baga Beach.. can easily walk to the beach... @Swimming Pool: Was always clean & neat... and open all the time for us.. @Food: They have a resto-bar... We tried a couple of times and were not disappointed.. was OK...... More

    Misleading description of Hotel along with noncompliance of booking terms.

    Hotel did not honour Breakfast coupons as paid for in the booking made by CLEARTRIP. We as a family of three and very frequent traveller domestic and international had booked a room with Breakfast at this Hotel. It is suppose to be a River front hotel, is actually in front of a dirty drain. There is no car parking facility in the hotel. A MORON of a receptionist sitting at the counter told us rudely that the car cannot be bought into the premises even to unload the luggage and that there was no facility in the Hotel to bring our luggage to our room. The room booked by us was relatively expensive and the room given to us was match-box size, dirty, damp, with the AC not cooling at all. There was no other family guest in the entire Hotel. The pictures uploaded on Cleartrip were totally misleading and false; the room was no wear near to as shown in the images. The next Morning to our utter shock and disbelief the Hotel refused to honour the Breakfast voucher saying that they had stopped Breakfast booking two months ago and that we had to order separately if we needed breakfast with payment. There was no room service in the Hotel. We called up Cleartrip office and made them speak to the hotel manager; even after Cleartrip explained to the Hotel manager that the booking was with complimentary Breakfast; the manager refused to comply. Subsequently we checked out without Breakfast as we did not want to force them. This is the worst Hotel experience we have had in our life traveling frequently as we do. We recommend that this Hotel is forcefully shutdown and delisted from all online booking across all websites as this kind of experience shakes the very foundation and guest confidence in all online bookings.... Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 01 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
