    WORST HOTEL EVER

    I would never in a million years recommend this hotel to a friend. Please do not make the same mistake as we did which was to be sweet-talked into going by the nice tuk tuk driver and then be beyond scammed by this ridiculous "hotel". The vile men who run it weren't just unfriendly they were downright rude and made us feel very uncomfortable as female travellers. We were forced to pay before we settled in (a big mistake) and at 1400 between three of us it wasn't cheap. However, by the evening of our arrival we had had to ask for our bathroom to be cleaned (there was litter on the floor and hair in the drain holes) and for the AC to be fixed. The final straw was when we went to bed and found a huge dried pool of semen on the sheets that hadn't been changed from the last guests, but merely covered up with a rug. When I went to tell the manager and asked for some money back he said the room was clean and shouted repeatedly in my face that I was wrong and we weren't getting any money back. To be fair to the men who cleaned our bathroom and changed the sheets, they were nice enough (except for when they laughed at the semen stain) it's the horrible men who run this place that ruined our stay in Delhi for us. Never been treated so badly by people who claim to work in the hospitality business. Disgusted.... More

    Run by cheats and rowdies

    Avoid at all cost if you don't want to ruin your trip. - extremely disrespectful and abusive to elders and women - quoted one amount and while checking out will cheat and threaten - washroom is disgusting - service staff are rowdies and disrespectful - gave ac room where ac was not working and still charged the rent for ac room if there was negative rating, would have given that..... More

    "Family-style" hotel in a great neighborhood

    When my cab driver couldn't find my hotel late at night, he asked if a "family Indian hotel" would be ok. I agreed and here we are. It's clean and friendly. When I asked the front desk for toilet paper, the clerk gave me an exasperated look and answered, "We use water here." Right! Of course. Bring it if you want it. The hotel has air-con, which is great if you can breathe in it. If you have trouble breathing at all, don't go to Delhi. The hotel is affiliated with a restaurant that provides affordable room service. Don't count on the wi-fi. The bustling neighborhood is the best attribute. Just walk out the front door and go straight, into a maze of busy streets. There is a sweet shop nearby and a very nice vegetarian restaurant.... More

    I have recently stayed in this hotel,really saying if you want to feel like you r in hell plz book the hotel immediately.Staff including manager don't even know how to speak with customers.Dont even dare to give an order for food becoz the food you will order will be something that you won't even prefer to serve to your dog.Rooms are so maintained as if you r in a trouble zone with taps not working,lights are all broken and ohh! My God,guys plz lock the door all times it could be any time housekeeping could visit without knocking.I had just waited for the night to get the hotel changed as they had already kept Rs-3000/- as security.Uff what a horrible experience. I wish hotel Richmond Inn should not get a single customer,as you people deserve pigs not peoples.... More

    Team work to rob customers by threatening.

    People, reading this review is a lot help to you guys. Please provide an option for ZERO STARS, I don't even like to see a star for this motel. Trust me, dorms are far better than this ridiculous worst rooms with no proper locks(you have to struggle for at least 15-20mins). My experience starts from entrance, they charged 3500INR for the only reason early check in. Can you imagine that was the discounted price for using their source of travel to Taj Mahal, which we weren't aware off. After 10mins of check in, boy knocks the door and informs the bus is about to leave. I was wondering, Why the heck was he informing us. Within couple of mins there were 5 phone calls and the boy (himself behaves like a owner) knocked the door for another 5 times. Finally I went to front desk to talk about the issue(motel team was all around the front desk). Reception guy cooking it to be heated conversation and they doesn't even know how to treat the customer. Now enters the team, arguing that I have to choose their source as if I have no option. This experience was like threatening to earn money. I finally decided to call cops to sort out the issue and then they stepped down to obey my words. I also noticed that the rowdy team was onto other customer for asking his deposit(however it was charged as tax that they inform about it at the check out). Time 11.30pm - we just returned from Taj Mahal, It was the rowdy team again threatening the couple to get into their ill treated hotel. This motel made auto drivers as marketing leads with high commissions. However I was into this motel due to an auto guy. Do not trust the hotels preferred by auto drivers in Delhi. If you guys want to get threatened, ill treated and get sick, please go ahead and reserve a room.... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
