OYO may have a problem this Resort does not
on Dec 20, 2017
Stayed here recently from 9th - 14th Dec with family and friends. Located at main Baga - Calangute road. From outside it looks like a shabby place (reception gate is poor, in between shops) but once you enter then you get actual view.
Remember: this is a budget hotel managed by oyo so they use every trick to save cost.
Breakfast: only three options:
Option 1: Bread toast (4 slices) with tea / coffee
Option 2: Bread (2 slices) - omelette with tea / coffee
Option 3: Paratha (2 Pieces) with small bowl of curd with Tea / Coffee / Poori (4 pieces which was reduced to 3 next day)and bhaaji with tea / coffee
Don't know how much they save by reducing 1 poori from the menu.
If you have a child then you will be charged extra for breakfast. I literally had to fight one day on this issue with manager. The Manager (Mr. Jaspreet if i remember his name correctly is "not arrogant" but argues unnecessarily to prove his point.
Location: Very Good. 5-10 Mins walk to Calangute Beach with many food and shopping options. It is on busy street so no issues in late night also.
Parking: There is no dedicated parking as this property is on main road surrounded by shops where many 2 wheelers are parked in day and night but there is one small lane in hotel where you can park in night (temporary arrangement).
Room service: Ok. Not great. They do what you ask them to do.
Comfort: Rooms were good with ample space. No noise as mostly families were there.
Pool: Good. Not very big but water was clean and we enjoyed that.
Over all the stay was comfortable without much disturbance. Since it was a budget property so we got what we paid for. It is a good option as mostly you will not be in rooms.

This is the OYO Goa flagship 400 hotel. The real name is Park Avenue. This is not actually a hotel but apartment kind of setup. There are 4 building type structure surrounding a small swimming pool. Some of the rooms were still being renovated during our visit. The rooms are strictly OK. We had booked 2 rooms and there was issue with A/C in one of the rooms. They would try to rectify it but for some reason, the fault would crop up again. Till we checked out, they couldn't rectify the mistake, nor did they make any serious effort to rectify it.
For breakfast they served Bread butter, Poha and Paratha (they would call it Aloo Paratha, but I never found any aloo in the Paratha on any day!!). The shocking thing is that they serve this and only these 3 items EVERYDAY. You are allowed to have ONLY ONE cup of either tea or coffee.
They allowed guests to use the swimming pool without insisting on costumes. Some guests were using the pool wearing regular clothes like jogging pants, bermudas, regular T-shirts, etc. There was no facilities for showers at the swimming pool.
Avoid booking here at any cost. The only saving grace is the proximity of the hotel to the Calangute beach. It is 10 minutes walking distance from the beach. But, there are many hotels near the beach. Avoid this one.
Great hospitality :)

You get few hotels in said calangute - baga area with in house swimming pool, vicinity of market, attractions and public transport yet rooms are clean and affordable. This is one off hotel. Located near calangute- baga circle so every damn thing is just walkable be it good restaurants, super markets, transportation & beach and mad traffic + crowds are flipside. Coming to hotels it's a big one with more than 50+ room and our room was pretty neat and spacious with balcony. Bed and linen was comfortable and had balcony too. Bathroom was small in compare to room size but didn't faced any difficulty most of the time apart from few mosquitoes. Hotel has a medium size pool with few sun decks. Staff were friendly and helpful right from check in to service of order ( Bit slow service though ). Complimentary breakfast had very limited options but qty of Aloo paratha & Puri Bhaji was enough for a single person per serve. Overall satisfied as per tariffs paid no doubt value for money. Booked through oyo rooms tariffs were Rs. 1800.00 Per Night for 3. Visited in long weekend duration of 26th jan- 29th jan 2017.
Do not book this hotel with OYO as flagship 400 calangute Baga cirlce

First of all I had tough time with OYO when I cancelled this booking and refund amount was "0" I had to fight with OYO and book the same hotel again.
when reached room was not ready and they were showing dirty rooms as options for stay.
Even after providing my ID proof, hotel wanted my wife's ID proof which was nowhere mentioned in policies.
Breakfast is limited with just 2 parathas or poori.
Have to pay and order to fill your stomach.
