    The hotel is situated about half a mile from the main road passing through Arpora. The building itself is quite lovely with a courtyard leading to first and second floor rooms. There are also some rooms and apartments outside the hotel across the road where the restaurant is located. There is a second swimming pool for the residents of this part of the hotel too. The facilities do include; table-tennis, pool, mini-gym and massage parlour. The reception staff were very helpful and the room we were allocated was adequate for our needs. We overlooked a pleasant meadow from the balcony. The room was large and comfortable with plenty of space for suitcases and wardrobe space for clothes with a reasonable number of hangars. There was coffee-making facilities as well as a mini-bar. The only drawback was the constant noise of the fridge working overtime which sometimes intruded on the tranquility of the environment, although we soon got to realise that noise was a constant in Goa anyway! The double bed was comfortable and large so no contact was possible if needs be!! The shower in the bathroom was only adequate as the power of the spray was somewhat limited and the difference between cold and scalding hot was not easy to manage. The outside pool was in a lovely spot and, although smallish, was very welcome a number of times. As with most hotel swimming pools, the early bird always gets the loungers but we managed to get some each time we went for a swim. The pool itself was cleaned of leaves and such regularly. The restaurant was 'over the road' from the main building and spacious. The staff there were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was good. Breakfast was mainly a 'do it yourself' experience but we got personal service from time to time which was nice and fun. In the evening the service becomes more formal with menus provided and service at the table. The food was decent but I couldn't get my head around having curry for breakfast!! The hotel is modernish without being 'posh'. All electric sockets are two pin and there were power cuts a couple of times but they lasted seconds rather than any real length of time. As stated, all the staff were very helpful and friendly and special mention should be made to the 'older' member of staff in the restaurant who could never do enough for us, he was great. The hotel is at the end of a twisting lane that shows every aspect of Goan life as you pass along it; new build and old next to one another, rubbish tips with dogs roaming, restaurants/bars and a constant flow of traffic but surprisingly not intrusive and there was never any sense of danger felt.     What an amazing Hotel

    We chose this hotel by chance and boy we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived early hours of the morning after a 9 hour flight with Thomas cook, Lovely flight! We chose to get private transfers through Thomas cook and we had no problems at all. We were served straight away Reception and taken to our rooms. The rooms are fairly basic but very comfy, there was a small kitchen area which i am not sure what its purpose was for as there was no cooker , there was a nice cool fridge just outside the kitchen. our air-con was really cool and we had a ceiling fan. our bedding was changed once a week and our towels were changed daily. We were on the ground floor near the quieter pool, we were there for 3 weeks and loved our room! We used both pools which were kept spotless, our favourite one was the quieter one over the road from reception, plenty of sun loungers with a soft cushion put on every morning and plenty of umbrella's. The Hotel restaurant was our favourite in the area, the food was amazing nothing was too much and our waiters were so friendly. We were there for New year and what a party!! they pulled out all the stops and gave us a great evening! Food was delicious and plentiful. We had access to good WIFI in communal areas and our room was on and off, ranging from a couple of hours off to a couple of days on. Staff go out of their way to fix everything to make your holiday pleasant. I love this Hotel! We have been to Goa a few times and this is by miles the best! We are already planning to comeback next year. We done 2 trips booked through the Thomas Cook rep and had 2 wonderful days. Our flight home was a good flight, no hiccups. i would highly recommend this hotel to all young old and families. ... More

    Only resturant and swimming pool is good , not rooms

    We booked 5 rooms for our family with very huge amount, but very much disappointed after visit, We mark that : Only Resturant is good, Food is good, Swimming pool is good, Tiny bathrooms with very small shower area, extre bed is very poor in 3 pax Very irresponsible and rude reception staff, There are no rooms as per showing photos of travel sites or photographs seen on their website. Eighty two years old, my father was not able to raise 42 steps of stairs on the other back side of the liftless building they provided our five rooms at the third floor on backside, requesting reception, was not there any liability, again in the morning after clashing with an irresponsible, rude, disorderly lady receptionist, a room on ground floor in a tiny dark corner Allocated, all rooms of the poolside are allocated to foreigners in advance, while offering bookings. Take care to be careful that the management of the hotel Impressed with " white leathers " is completely neglected by the desi guests. I think There are many other good options are available in this area with lower prices and good locations if you search .... More

    Great hotel, great holiday, friendly staff

    Enjoyed our 2 week stay at the Lagos Azul in December. Reception girls are lovely, very helpful and always had a smile for us when we walked by. Breakfast was really good, staff very accommodating and friendly, the restaurant was very clean and the tables were cleared very quickly. Pool was in a lovely setting overlooking some fields and we never had a problem getting a sunbed. The people staying here did not reserve sunbeds, which was a welcome relief. The hotel is not far from the centre of Arpora, although it is at the end of a lane, we loved the little walk back in the evening after dinner. Would definitely stay again, beds were comfortable and our room was very big and the view from the balcony was lovely. ... More

Resort Lagoa Azul, situated in Bardez enjoys close proximity to the famous Calangute, Baga and Anjuna beaches-2 Km. After every hour, the hotel provides free shuttle service to the beaches. Free WiFi is available only at the reception and at the Tabla restaurant. This hotel in Goa is 13 km from the local bus stand. Resort Lagoa Azul houses 80 air-conditioned rooms most of them are pool facing and have a balcony. These spacious rooms are outfitted with satellite television, refrigerator with mini-bar, telephone, baby cot (on request) and an attached bathroom with the supply of hot and cold running water. In-room wireless internet access is on chargeable basis.

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
