    This is hotel should be closed. There’s mold issues - it’s dirty - the rooms are disgusting. Perhaps, there’s a few left that are in decent condition. The staff and front desk staff are liars and thieves. It is part of a scam with the travel offices and taxi drivers. If anyone suggests you stay here - run!!!!     Scam left bad feeling

    I thought I was being safe getting in a fixed date taxi through the booth at the airport. Despite having the address I was dumped nowhere near the hotel I booked with someone who was to show me to the booked hotel. Yep instead directed to ‘tourist office’, who showed me terrible reviews for my booked hotel and offered to book a different one for x. Of course had to be cash. Taken to this hotel. The entrance looks good but that is the only good thing about it. The room is filthy dirty with broken lights, bathroom more suited to a hostel, no hot water, dirty, grubby towel. The shower barely works, cold water only. The mirror is badly damaged. There have been smokers and an ashtray is present. The fridge smells as though something has died in it. The breakfast is best avoided, stale bread toasted, strange margarine and unrecognised jam; an omelette that was indescribable. The best part was the bottled water, even though it cost extra! The room was not cleaned once in 3 days, maybe not even before then judging by the state of it. Frankly a youth hostel would be an improvement. Sadly this has put me off Delhi, i felt cheated and disappointed especially thinking I was doing the right thing. If your booked hotel offers transport then book it, it could save you a lot of hard earned money. ... More

    Not so " Relax Inn"

    Avoid this hotel....stayed in 5 hotels in northern India during a 10day tour, & this place was atrocious! I have given 5* reviews to every other place so I'm not being difficult! On check in the card key failed & we had to be given the master key for access to our room....forgivable but the noise coming from down stairs at 0100 n the morning was unforgivable! You'd think we'd booked into a construction site...had to ring reception & complain....credit to them they gave me a wake up call for 0530 but needless to say tired & cranky I was looking forward to the buffet breakfast they advertised & a quick get away.... only to be told breakfast was to order as the buffet service was not available!?!?? It'd take 30-45 mins to order from the menu so we just had tea/coffee & plain toast. Also NOT available was their on site restaurant! This hotel is located at a fiveway cross junction...so if you want to venture out then you have to tackle the crazy Delhi traffic....as we travelled with children we decided to eat in only to discover the restaurant was nothing more than a function room which was a glamourfied store room with workers sleeping in amongst the furniture....& stale! We ate in What I can only describe as a staorage room, which had no atmosphere with dirty tables & furniture left in a mess from the previous event & it was not a not surprise we were the only people there....but all we wanted by this point was to be fed & get some sleep & truly move on! The rooms are dirty & despite a "caution hot water" sign on all the taps, there was no hot water to be had....the water was tepid at best & our sink leaked...which was fixed when highlighted! The floors weee dirty & only one hand towel & bath towel to each family room....when I asked for more it was grudgingly given! Room service is poor as they have to send out for food & asked if we could put in a bigger order as they would have to order in...they could not provide half of their advertised menu & had the audacity to say I was asking for things which were not popular! If you can not provide then please do not have fish fingers on your menu! & to top it off they came within minutes for the bill but forgot to give me my change!?!?Again a call to reception had them bring me my change...not being funny...I tipped well throughout this trip but to "conveniently" they forget to being back my change of over £200 rupees? Just out right cheeky given the service was so poor! On a positive the ground staff were helpful & tried their best...however the management were simply there to make money...I am quite fluent in Hindi & am of Indian decent so did not appreciate being referred to as Ghora mem....'White lady 'by the management team when asking for a cab! Maybe they didn't realise I could understand the lingo or in all honesty they didn't care that they might offend! I would steer clear of this place... Its not as it is advertised!... More

    ABSOLUTELY, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES STAY AT THIS HOTEL

    I was the victim of the scam where the cab tells you your hotel is closed due to a "protest in the area" and I needed to go to the "Government Tourist Office" to find a new hotel, at 11:30 PM. They even "called" the hotel (their buddy I'm sure) and had me talk to them to confirm that my reservation was cancelled because the hotel was closed. I was taken to Hotel Relax Inn. The next morning I was hounded by people who kept knocking on my door to take me back to the tourist office and book a tour of India. I had a really difficult time escaping them. I finally was able to place a call to my hotel and find that they were in fact open and I had been scammed. I made a fast escape from Hotel Relax Inn by having a taxi park down the street and literally ran out the door tossing my key to the desk and had someone chasing even as I jumped in my cab.     Don't come here!!!

    The hotel is just disgusting, dirty sheets, dirty toilet, nothing was clean. They put us in a room full of mold, likely, after one night, I asked and they changed the room. Image the smell of the room. After asking for another room is when you realise that they rather put you in a disgusting room that in a "better one" although they were not going to sell it. The staff was nice but unfortunately you cannot trust them. We had dinner in the hotel, which it was our first night in India. They put us in the bill (written down, not printed) cgst 178 rupees and sgst 156 rupees. This is the taxes that we all should pay but after those days we found out it was only 2,5% each what it should have been 18.98 rupees, plus they put service charge and ask a few times for tips.   5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
