    My sister and I stayed here with a group of friends for a wedding. While the rooms are not very nice themselves, we were clearly given one of the worst rooms in the hotel.It smelled like an ashtray, had questionable stains everywhere, had a broken showerhead, no hot water, no fridge and a broken safe. The sheets also felt really dirty and were doused in a really strong musty cologne. My sister and I felt disgusted to sleep on the sheets and I have suspicion to believe they were not washed. When we mentioned our discomfort with the room, we were told there was nothing they could do for us because the whole hotel was booked. Later, they came by with a spray bottle to “clean” the room and on another occasion with a bucket of hot water. After staying there one night we quickly looked for a new place to stay and found a better hotel called Joecons about a mile away. Once we informed them we were leaving, they only then began desperately offering us a better room. We were not interested because they did nothing to help us the day before and we were genuinely disgusted by the room and the absurd service.We demanded a refund but the lady at the front desk said it was not possible and continued telling us to sit down and wait, for what, I don’t know. She even had the audacity to laugh at us when I explained the condition of the room. When they went to go verify if the room was in bad condition which in itself is ridiculous, they in fact confirmed that there was no hot water and were informed that they had a problem with hot water at the hotel overall. Great, but that’s not our problem. In the end, they refused to give us a refund or offer any sort of discount. Oh, I didn’t even mention that they forced us to pay for the mandatory New Years gala which was 70 US dollars and had terrible food, definitely not worth 70 dollars.Unless you want to be scammed do not stay here. They do not care about your stay. I assume they will leave a apologetic message discounting or arguing with my points here, which is absolutely ridiculous.     A very mediocre property- don’t expect the basics to be working (cleanliness, tv, phone, WiFi) and forget about any value adds (gym, good food, beach front, staff responsiveness).. this is a very basic property and worth it only if you manage to get it at a 3-star price..... More

    Hotel has good ambience.Good approachable road,,parking and nearness to beach.However some additional facilities can be provided for drivers also as they come from far after driving a long distance. The food quality and services of room are good .There is internet facility also but many times internet connectivity is not there.All the staff were polite and gave good service... More

    Me and my friend family booked this resort thinking it belongs to Royal Orchid group and expecting good service.After checking in we got to know it runs by an Individual and has some tie up with Royal Orchid to provide their name. The food is terrible and unfortunately we had taken package if breakfast and lunch/dinner.As we were in 25th of December , they have mandatory gala dinner charge of 4k for each person for party and the food was really bad .For the name of party ,they will provide one anchor with music who will make you play game .if you are reading this review and still booking it, it would really mistake for you.... Overview

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Regenta Resort Varca Goa by Royal Orchid Hotels is a budget property in Goa. This property is located at a distance of 0.5 km from the Varca Beach and 8 km from the Madgaon Railway Station. This resort has 12 villas and 48 spacious rooms for accommodation in Goa. Each room is equipped with amenities like television, makeup mirror, wardrobe and attached bathroom with hot and cold running water. Most of the rooms either give a pool or a beach view. 24-hour room service is offered to the guests.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
