Good stay but pricey

Good accommodation, great view of the lakes. The access road to the place for the last 500m is bad and more suitable for a SUV. We had a good trek to the top of the hill. Cost wise its on the higher side from whatever i experienced in my previous stays.

Sorri to say this my second visit today 21sep 2019 but what they promise they won’t provide you and if they promise you for camp fire they just ignore your promises and mostly they give importance to big group of people so I will not suggest this place at all
Truly Fantastic Nature Resort

If you like to stay away from the crowd and noise and want to be in a calm serene place surrounded by Nature, this is THE place to be in, when in Ooty!.
We stayed for 3 nights with very hospitable and caring hosts - Vijay and Bhanu. The property is huge - bounded by Mountains, tea estates and the Emerald lake - what a location!!!. You won't stop trying to capture the magnificent views with your camera!
The entire place is very well maintained, cottages have large bedrooms and washrooms with large verandah to soak in the views. Very neat and clean rooms and washrooms.
On all the four days, the food quality was excellent with good range and variety. You will definitely notice the freshness of the vegetables - most of it is grown in their backyard without use of pesticides.
The staff were cordial and ready to help.
If you are a dog lover, they have 3 lovely dogs and a pup - very friendly.
Believe me, you wouldn't want to go to the main town, after experiencing this place - we made the mistake on one of the days!
While the pricing may seem to be a little on the higher side, it's definitely worth it!.
A place like home

I would definitely recommend everyone who are traveling to Ooty to stay in this place. It gives you a feeling of living in the arms of mother nature.
Awsomee view/ climate, home cooked yummy food, and most importantly very good people to stay with. Vijay and his family are very nice people who make you feel like home and also the staff out there are very good people who treat you well and accomodate all your requests. The best part about this trip were the 3 dogs which are in the farm - Luna, Mika and alphie. You will end up spending you entire day just cuddling them in the lawn and playing with them.Im glad we have such places in India to visit. I would definitely visit this place again in future.
An echo of old India

Vijay and his wife Treat one like house guests. One stays in a "planter's bungalow" much as one might have done 60 or 70 years ago. It is at 7500 ft elevation that made carrying our bags a surprise and fleeces were necessary in the evening. Excellent stay.
