    Nice friendly hotel

    Spent a week at this lovely hotel, our room was lovely very clean and nice views of the hills, food was good the only down thing was desserts not much choice but never left hungry. Hotel bar was well stocked and service was good never having to queue to long. Location was very good only a short walk to the seafront and town shops and bars. Would stay here again xx... More

    Booked last minute 4 night break at a good price Stayed Bed and Breakfast so can't comment on other meals Breakfast was normal continental hotel buffet breakfast but the dining room did feel a bit like a cafe Don't expect luxurious surroundings while eating If you want a good pool area don't expect it at this hotel as it is small and surrounded by buildings but ok for a quick dip Room was more than adequate strange open plan wardrobe but plenty of hangers and lovely bathroom with a big shower Maid service daily Excellent location a short walk to beach and town Supermarket round the corner and shop with English newspapers if you wish The manager was very helpful when our bus did not turn up for return journey to airport (Drop off and pick up stop is literally a one minute walk from hotel) and phoned the bus company and spoke to them when I did not get a reply to ensure it had us on it's list Tossa De Mar is a lovely interesting resort with mostly Spanish restaurants and bars Old town and fort are lovely Can take a boat trip along the coast to for example Lloret de Mar for a completely different experience of Spain Also can get public bus to Barcelona from the bus station a 5-10 min walk away All in all a nice hotel for a short break in a lovely Spanish town Would recommend an return in those circumstances....     Late summer bargain break!

    My husband and I booked a last minute all inclusive break with Jet 2. Reasonable price of £375.00 each. My husband read all the reviews good and bad..so we travelled with the thought that it was a bargain break and couldn't be all bad a son some of the reviews said! First of all it's in a great spot 10 miniute stroll to the beach, supermarket round the corner handy for everything. The rooms vary in size we had a small sun terrace and a small window. The rooms are quite dated sparce in furniture, open plan wardrobe and only 4 hangers! But it was cleaned everyday clean towels and small toiletries everyday, and if only staying for a week more than adiquate. The pools are small with limited sun beds small out door areas and a fairly small bar. Things to note: Other reviews noted that dining room was more like a canteen and very noisy it is!! It's very basic and you eat and go not an area to linger with a coffee after dinner. The food is basic but edible and every evening and lunch time a chef grills meat etc. It's not gourmet style but you won't starve ... fresh fruit, salads, lunch and dinner about the same breakfast selection of hot and cold and the strangest water boiler for tea I have ever seen it should be in a museum!!! If your really fussy about your tea and coffee take your own !! The staff in the dining room and kitchen work really hard all but one young guy smiled greeted and tried their very best with limited resources. Politeness and a smile back with the odd word of Spanish was much appreciated. A few final points: It's not all inclusive as we've known it before. The bar opens 11.00 am till 11.00pm one member of staff behind the bar the kind and friendly Miguel ... he's a star! You are given drinks in plastic beakers, which are re usable and reminded me of Tupperware! You can only get a drink if you return your empty plastic beaker ...Baileys..tasted quite odd in a plastic cup! If you pay for drinks you can have glass... and at lunch time and dinner in the dining room you can have glass... so we just held on to a glass and topped it up. The owner greets you at reception ... he's a bit Basil Fawlty ... be warned !!! But again ... those customers that were off hand and quite nasty at times where treated with a Basil stare ... but when my husband asked for football on tv he was happy to put it on no problem. At one point the hotel had an invasion of French tourists they demanded and carried on shouting at the staff.. and eating everything in their path it was like the battle of Agincourt again but I think the Brits lost this time! Finally the hotel has seen better days but if you get it for a bargain price then it's ok. The staff are hard working and very nice. It's a great location for the beach etc and very quiet at night so a good nights sleep. Tossa is such a beautiful resort ... very pretty very Spanish lots of bars restaurants shops it's like a picture post card. Clear sea, very clean beach,I wouldn't hesitate to return. We traveled end of September and quite a few of the bars etc were closing fir the season, any later and it would be very quiet. All in all a basic but pleasant hotel in a great location in one of the loveliest little towns in Europe.... More

    AWFUL EXPERIENCE

    I went on an all inclusive which I had booked very last minute as I needed to relax and unwind. The food was terrible and what there was was not replenished very quickly. It was so bad I lived on chips and bread for the week- not very good for an all inclusive. Everything was so greasy and you didn't know what meat you were eating as they rarely put any labels out. I got read the riot act on my second day by who I can only think was the hotel manager. He never introduced himself and starting telling me that on the all inclusive I was only allowed 1 drink at a time. Yet there would be other people sat with 2 or 3 drinks. Once I had finished one I could have another. I had 2 small bottles of water and as he was talking to me he took one from me!!! When I tried to speak he just talked over me. I was a solo traveller and a paying guest at this hotel. Never in my whole life of traveling the world have I been spoken to or treated like this by any hotel. Outrageous behaviour and I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. They call it a 4 star but I would struggle to call it a 2 star by UK standards.... More

  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.
