    Very pleasant stay.

    I had a most wonderfully pleasant stay at this well presented hotel. The rooms are immaculately clean with fresh bedding and towels daily. The hotel staff are extremely accommodating and made my stay there an absolute pleasure. The hotel is very central with the main road of Chennai ( TTK ROAD ) only a 2 minutes walk away. There is a delightful bakery situated on the corner of the road of the hotel, serving sweet and savoury western snacks. This makes a nice change if you fancy change from the spicy food.     extremely low hygiene level. minimum condition. inconvenient bath. no clean water. minimum food choices. no protein. high sugar, high spice, high salt. pure carbs. sick for the whole trip. people work here cannot speak english. but they are very friendly.... More

    Horrible service & Dirty rooms

    We were accommodated in a 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor. Every single room was so badly maintained. The bedsheet had stains, the walls had leakage and moulds, the washroom was dirty..it was a nightmare to say the least! On top of that, the service was horrible! Whenever we requested anything, it took them about 4-5 hours to get it. We had to keep reminding them even for water bottles. The flush in one of the washrooms stopped working and they took an entire day to fix it. Again, we had to remind them a million times! The only good thing about this apartment was the security guard / watchman who stood near the gate and who was always happy to help us with our luggage. If you're planning to stay here, I would request you to AVOID at all costs!! ... More

    It was a bad experience staying in this property. It can be classified as a lodge and not as a hotel or a serviced apartment. The service levels were pathetic. Run down reception. The toilet mentioned it is sanitized but was full of stains. The flush stopped working and it took them a whole day to repair it. The bed cover was full of stains and had to ask them to replace it. The bath mugs and buckets were stained and unclean. The AC cooling was ineffective and had to repeatedly call for rectifying it. The room was never cleaned and was dusty.... More

    Theres a surprise in this hotel for you every day. in a stay of 5 days 3 times theres no water in the tap in toilet. kindly bring a bucket full of water along for ensuring basic bath and toilet ! nothing else to say water is not there rest all everything is secondary.... More

Overview

Rainbow Hotels can be reached from the Eldoms Road Bus Stop (0.5 km) and Kodambakkam Railway Station (5 km). The accommodation in Chennai is also provided with free Wi-Fi connectivity.   1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
