A Serene Getaway!!!

I know this is a week late review.. however it took soo long for us to get out of the impact that Rainforest has made in us. Such a serene place with lots of greenery.
Though we have visited munnar several times, this time paves a special memory and experience to us. Food and hospitality is the best.. people out there are very courteous and friendly.
Must visit place.. highly recommended!!!

Resort is pretty small but very well maintained.. I stayed here for 4 nights.. Ideal place for family and couples.. Service was excellent.. Well behaved staffs... Neatly maintained rooms.. I loved their food.. You will never feel away from home when it comes to food.. This property is one among the many properties situated in the middle of a 150 acre estate owned by pulimootil group.. Property is 12 kms away from the Munnar town.. There is no mobile connectivity except for BSNL users.. So you can be at peace and spend quality time with your loved ones..but then you have pretty strong WiFi in this property that plays spoil sport.. which tries to keep you glued to your smartphones and laptops..
To conclude..the person in charge of this property, Mr.Bony ensured that my overall stay comfortable..
Overall I loved the stay and I'll be back to this estate very soon..

The title is justified with the kind of property we stayed . Overall it was a pleasant stay with scenic beauty around .If you are looking for calm and pleasant stay then go for "Rain forest homestay". It surrounded by tea estates and forest . Ideal place for peace and nature lover.
The host was Cooperative . Guests can have dinner breakfast but you have inform the host. if you are looking for any customization of food , inform the same to the host otherwise the cooks will never know what exactly ur taste bud wants.
A suggestion for host- If possible kindly arrange a bonfire setup . This will add up to fun. as a guest sometimes we expect bonfire.
I would suggest this place and would like to visit again.
AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE GONE WRONG

To begin with we booked a double bed room bunglow for just two of us.Undoubtedly it was luxurious, the view was great, the service and the food were top class, staff were friendly and we had amazing two days of stay but unfortunately or fortunately I had regular my menstrual cycle and quite normally left their bedsheet slightly stained which I guess can be happening with any female guest putting up as it would be for a baby peeing or pooping or may be vomitting and leaving some stains.While we were leaving we were stopped and our rooms were checked (till this step we were fine since it is their duty to confirm we do not damage their property !) but then to my utter embarrasment the manager (may be the manager or the owner, a young guy in his mid 20's ) came up to us and said we have to pay 1500rs for a bedsheet that had blood stains.They did not even have the minimum courtesy of calling my fiancee aside and giving me the minimum respect since it was not intentional and I guess they do live with their own mothers,sisters,wives and running a hotel/homestay they have encountered this issue a zillion times in life ! After negotiating they came down to 1200rs and offered us to take away the bedsheet with us ! Now having travelled far and wide this kind of experience was witnessed by us for the first time and I wonder to the charge the same if a baby poops on their bedsheet? is it a mere money-making policy since we booked them through makemytrip and nowhere in their terms and condition this was written, neither could they give us substantial proof.Let me tell you guys asking for money is not wrong but make sure your ways are fair enough ! Causing such high level of embarrasment to a woman just reflects your immense heartlessness and i feel sad to say I will never be able to recommend you guys to any of my fellow female travellers since I do not want them to go through what I faced.Thank you for letting the world know what is normal is actually abnormal to you people and even if i keep this empathy part aside (which you guys clearly lack!) , on what grounds did you people extort us 1200rs for one bedsheet ? I would like to ask for the bill of the actual price of the bedsheet and see how much it really retails for !To my experience the brand new one would have not costed anything above 300rs since the quality is pretty cheap and not at all branded and I am sure you guys will agree too ! Well thank you guys my mood was ruined for only few minutes and after that I forgave your ignorance towards the females of the society and prayed instilling for some sense in you people so that you have an easier life ahead !Cheating customers will not really take you a long way and Munnar being overflooded with hotels you must and I am sure yo u will be surely changing your hotel policies for a better customer base ! goodluck guys !

Very worst experience unprofessional staff food is very bad, nothing there to enjoy very boring place for family, spoiled my family holiday had booked for 5 nights had move to another resort after 2nights very bad attitude of resort manager, food quality is very bad, rooms are very congested this place is not worth for money, waste and boring..
