    First things first, this place is beautiful, the hospitality is top notch and a well laid out Hotel. The location is brilliant, it’s near most places in Ahmedabad. Fast food chains and clothes shops for those that want t shop. The breakfast is good, only downside is they don’t change it, the same food for 9 nights does get to you. We stayed in the business class rooms on the 8th floor. We had a little water problems but not severe that it would disrupt our stay. Happened to visit the SPA but no one was there at the counter, they were all having “lunch” in a tiny room that they happened to shut when they saw me- big negative, but that does not influence my overall opinion of the hotel. Will go back anytime any day eyes closed. ... More

    Disorganised reception but lovely rooms

    Upon arrival at the hotel, our bags were quickly whisked through an x-ray machine and we walked through the metal detector into reception. Despite there being only 14 people in our tour group, they had difficulty in processing us. There were three people behind reception all doing different parts of the process but they did not seem to know what one another was doing. My partner waited for a photograph to be taken (all guests are photographed for security) was moved on by one member of staff and then called back by another. Also we were not told that we had access to the executive lounge - we only discovered this after we left the hotel. The room was fantastically comfortable and very clean. There was a reasonably priced mini bar (no alcoholic drinks were available). There was a very comfortable armchair and footrest in the room. I actually slept on this on my last night here, as I had come down with a bad cold and wanted to sleep upright. This worked brilliantly. The shower was lovely - both in terms of size and the quality of the shower itself. We used room service dining on one evening. The service was quick and the food quality very good. Breakfast was a lovely spread. Much of it was geared towards the Indian Market (i.e. spicy) but there were more than ample good quality choices for the western taste buds also. Omelettes could be made to order. The breakfast service was good on the first two days but let us down on the Sunday. It was not ready by the allotted time. I asked for a coffee but this did not come during the 15 minutes that I was eating, so I gave up and left. I was told by another person in the tour group that this turned up another 10 minutes later - i.e. 25 minutes after it was requested. This was frankly ridiculous. We dined in the restaurant one lunchtime and the service in contrast was fast and efficient. I opted for a pizza, which was very tasty. Overall this was a great hotel. If they get the reception team more organised and improve the breakfast service on Sundays this could easily receive an "Excellent" ranking... More

There are 116 spacious rooms and each room is well maintained with free high speed internet, LCD television, free newspaper, iron/ironing board, baby crib, welcome amenities, temperature control, tea/coffee maker, hair dryer, and minibar. Separate smoking rooms are also allocated. The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group also offers global hotel rewards program for guest who hold the Club Carlson card where guest can earn points and redeem their awards.


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 02 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
