    If you see this place, RUN!!

    This place is a nightmare for travelers, especially for those visiting Goa. Issues are endless. Here are few of them. A/C does not work all the time. If the owner finds out that you are using the AC for quite a while, he cuts off the power supply. I wanted to test if this was actually the case. So what I did was I switched off the AC for a while in the morning when it was not too hot outside. There was no problem with the power. However, when I turned it back on, in less than 5 minutes, the power went off. There was an inverter, however I did not pay for the inverter. I paid for an AC room. Next, I left the AC and all the fans on when we went out. When we returned, AC was off. I understand that if the was a power cut, the AC would restart when the power returns. How is that the AC was turned off? You do not get hot water. though the owner says it is available 24 hours. You get hot water only after noon. Reason is that they have a solar water heating system. Therefore, if you are traveling during monsoon or in the winter, there is no chance of getting hot water. The worst of them all - the check out time is 10AM. Not sure which hotel/home stay has a check out time of 10AM, especially in Goa. What happens at the end is even worse. The owner's wife arrives at sharp 10AM and she does not leave until you are done packing and left the place. We were not ready at 10AM because we had explicitly told the owner that we cannot leave at 10AM and that we will leave at 11.30AM. Even though we told her that, she let the maid in to clean the place and change the linens. There are 2 double beds joined together in each room and is at the corner. The maid actually climbs on the beds to change the sheets, especially at the ends since it is to the corner. The maid also started throwing our slippers outside. When we told her to put them back in until we leave, the owner said it was her instructions to the maid. She next started screaming at all of us, not even mindful of the fact that there was a 4 year old present there, who, after the incident was startled for a while. It is a sincere advice to travelers to avoid this place. If someone had told us this, we would have never opted for this place. You would find a review on Google from one "Uday Kerkar".     A very good place... rooftop room just like second home... Lovely treatment by the owner, very very affordable for couples and family... 5-6 minutes walking distance from Candolim beach, car arrangements for pick-up and drop and moving around to different places superbly arranged, food arranged, complementary drinking water bottles as required and so on... Most beautiful thing was the cozy rooftop room...... More

    The Most Terrible stay Award goes to Prem Nivas at Goa.......

    Recently in November 2016, We had booked the room at Prem Nivas as we planned a GOA trip for 5 days, and we experienced the worst stay here, Room was not cleaned at all and even after staying there was no room service available, Soap,Towel the basic things which every hotel provides at a time of check in but we had to ask even for this stuff, we found three to four large size cockroaches at our room, so scary it was. when we need any help No telephone service was available, every time we had to go down for help as the washroom tab was licking, no warm water was available at the time of morning....and we also asked for room cleaning but it was not done till we checked out... owner was only interested for room rent not for giving good service.... We paid half amount in advance but still owner was so annoying us for payments as we will run away without paying,, just imagine how worst stay it was........ AVOID THIS HOTEL- IT HAS ANNOYING OWNER, UNCLEANED ROOMS, WORST FACILITIES.....Not worth wasting money for this Hotel.... I guess the owner should take the reviews seriously and upgrade the facilities, Room service. but i do not think so he is interested in that......... More

    The best worst home stay

    I keep visiting places. I did not see this kind of hotel/ home stay ever during my travel. I can give "The Best Worst Home Stay" award to this. I don't have negative stars here to give. 1. No mineral water supplied 2. Rooms are not that as shown in pictures here 3. Owner is not friendly 4. Too much costly (not worth for the money) 5. No hot water supply in the morning 6.     The most 3rd grade resort in Entire Goa !!

    I booked the guest house expecting that I will have not a pleasant but atleast a decent stay since my family wanted to explore the North side of Goa. The guest house is in a small narrow lane with no proper road. When I entered I was shocked to see the room. It was a min hut or you can call it a servant room at the outhouse. The room size is approximately 6 x 10 feet. I have attached the pics. The owner whose name is Uday is an arrogant person. When I expressed my dislike, the owner was so rude that he literally used used the following lines - nikal jao yahan se agar room pasand nahi hai....refund bhi nahi hoga. He forcibly asked me to check-in or leave his premises. Since I was with my family and kids I'd no option but to check-in. I called Goibibo helpdesk who told me that the owner denied to cancel the room booking hence the refund will not be provided. The owner's wife was also behaving in the most possible cheap filthy manner. The room A/c is just for show purpose. It does not cool the room at all. Since it is a guest house - no towels, soaps or water is provided. There were few other guests knocking his door for some help around 10pm but he never opened the door or answered the phone call. If you want to ruin your stay, waste your money, experience worst people like Uday and his wife and screw your mood then this place is for you. If you are sensible enough please stay away from this guest house. All you find over there is single guys with no family around.... More

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
