    Economical hotel in prime location with good staffs.

    Hotel is in prime location. Economical when compared to others. Facilities are ok with the rent they take. Staffs are polite and helpful. Owner is very helpful and involved directly with the good running of the hotel. I was worried with the reviews found in trip advisor. Still i booked this hotel for my stay in May 2019. I stayed with my family of three small kids and parents for two days. I personally realized that the poor reviews raised in trip advisor are no longer valid. My family found no difficulty with the stay. Rooms are clean as seen in the photos. There are some improvements to be done. I found the management has already started working on it.     Damp rooms, rude staff, Overbooked

    We booked three rooms in OYO Pratham international in Ooty from 23-Dec-2018 to 24-Dec-2018. But when we reached hotel we found that hotel was already overbooked and remaining rooms were Damp, not fit to stay. Staff was very rude. It is not fit for a family stay. So we could not stay at the hotel but still could not get the refund from OYO or Goibibo.... More

    Terrible, Overpriced, No Lift, Hot water only for limited time, Room congested, Bakwas Breakfast, Congested Parking

    First time experienced that there can be no lift in a hotel but it can have around 3 floors. Later i realised that many hotels have similar No Lift concept in Ooty. Hot water is Available only between 7am to 10am, which is not at all expected at this price range. Breakfast starts at 8.30/8.45am. They don’t have any own kitchen and their staff will get parcel from outside small hotel. Parking is horrible and cannot just accommodate at least 4 cars. They tend to put so many vehicles in a small place and u need to take out ur vehicle if other vehicle need to come out because of the congested space. Overall I felt that it is worth for less than Rs.1000 per night, but don’t seem to have much of options nearby. ... More

    Over-priced with very basic amenities. Stay away if possible.

    Pros: 1. The property is located in the middle of Ooty town. You can access the market, botanical garden, lake and a few attractions easily. Also good restaurants nearby. 2. Room is clean. 3. They have a travels too, so you can arrange your day trips with those people. But make sure you call the travels directly. You can get the number from reception. If you go with the service managers there, they will add ~Rs 500-600 as their commission. Cons: 1. No elevator inspite of our room in 3rd floor. So had to take 3 staircases every day 2. No complimentary breakfast, wifi, or even water bottles. 3. Room is very small. The bed is barely sufficient for two people 4. Hot water in bathrooms is available only till 9 am. If you are lucky, you can get some hot water till 9:30-10. This is a huge problem in a cold place like Ooty, where you may want to use the bathroom in the night or want to wake up late 5. They tried charging me additional 2% for card payment. Had to argue with them to waive that off... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance

  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
