    Have been here less than 3hrs and do far: 1. Couldn’t find our reservation/had the wrong name on checking in 2. Given the wrong room & had to change. 3. Kept being disturbed with other peoples luggage being delivered to room. 4. Given wrong WiFi & told someone would call back, but never did. 5. Had to ask twice before Ice bucket delivered to room. 6. Although the hotel does not sell alcohol we were told by reception we could bring our own to the restaurant only to be told to leave the restaurant because we had brought our own wine! 7 Ordered food to be taken to our room, only to be chased by a waiter saying we had given the wrong room. Had to take him to our room to prove I hadn’t! 8. Banished to our room but despite ordering 1/2 hr ago still no sign of food. Not sure I can take 2 nights here!... More

    Nice location.. good hospitality and courteous staffs.. in-house activities were good.. overall a wonderful experience in Amber dale.. I would prefer staying in Amber dale on my next visit to munnar..... More

    Incredible views but caution

    This hotel is perched on a very steep mountain and the views from the balconies are really incredible. However what locals will giggle and tell you with a whisper of gossip is that the hotel was renovated and renamed after a major landslide caused huge rocks to come crashing down through the reception, trapping guests for a couple of days. It was called Plum Judy. Google it. That said the renovation is good and room layout is very similar to a Novotel, modern, functional etc. However watch what floor you are on - level four, below the dining room is massively noisy, you can hear the scraping of heavy teal chairs across tiles amplified for hours. Excruciating. Terrible if, like us, you have early wake up for trekking. The restaurant is fine and staff are helpful in the main. They have some cute ideas for activities - tea and snacks on the roof, camp fire, cooking class - but the rooftop itself is a space that needs some TLC or at least more furniture. For a newly renovated property, they really need to maintain it better: better cleaning, repainting dirty walls, grouting bathrooms. Otherwise the property doesn’t deserve to call itself “luxury”....     2 night stay in this beautiful resort amongst the clouds . Coffee on the Terrace to watch the sunrise is a must - even for sleepy heads like me. Even the cooking demonstration exceeded my expectations and we got to taste the food cooked. The staff are friendly and exceptionally helpful. And the food ! Loved the buffet style menu with so many selections to choose from. The highlight of my holiday so far... More

    i stayed in this hotel last month all the other facilities are exellent except food...the food its horrible ...i think the chefs are not experianced...and rooms are realy neat and clean ...view from the room is so cool and realxing ...staffs are very nice and friendly ...on the cool climate in munnar i got good massage from spa its realy nice....please provide music for spa ...over all the experiance its wow..except food ... More

Overlooking the valley, Plum Judy Hotel is placed roughly 5 km from Pothamedu Viewpoint and 2 km from Munnar Bus Stand. As value added services, guests are offered free breakfast and internet access during their stay. With its 50 well-kept rooms that are spread across four floors, the property in Munnar offers a decent stay. Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
