    Is it deserving of a 5 star rated hotel

    The Piccadilly hotel is ideally situated opposite the metro station which makes movement in the chaotic roads of Delhi avoidable. The hotel has a beautiful frontage but the reception area is open and quiet cold. The staff though were mostly friendly and accommodating. Although when I complained that the heat setting on the air conditioner could not be turned on, I was given an extra blanket. When I called back to reception, I was told that they will get the duty manager to call back, which he didn’t. The duty manager when confronted said that he had no idea of the problem. So shoddy communication. There are no hairdryers and we had to ask for one.There are also no gowns and slippers. When I brought this to the front desk staff, they said that hairdryers are on request. For a 5 star rating, this is the first time I had to request a hairdryer. This is a lovely hotel with so much potential. It requires renovation. It wasn’t an unpleasant stay but the stay could have been better.... More

    Hotel in poor condition. A/C in room doesn't work to warm the room. Problem getting hot water to shower. Should close completely for renovations to be completed. Was part of a large group from the same travel agency. Travelers complained bitterly of condition of rooms. Shocking to see the hairdryer electrical connection and only gathered this cos it wasn't working, hazardous. It is near train but will not recommend.... More

    This hotel used to be Hilton (some ten years ago) and the lobby is still impressive by its size and airness, however the whole facility needs an overhaul. The rooms are large and well furnished, but not really well maintained - starting with doors which were not closing properly to traces of water leakage and peeled wallpapers. There were not enough hangers in the closet for suits and shirts. The first room I got was a smoking one and the smell was awfull. Specially bad surprise was the taste of water from the tap - not useful for tea neither for washing of your teeth. Luckily there were enough of bottled water. The staff was not very professional - the orders given by my business parter how to prepare the room for me were not respected at all and the fruit basket he sent to hotel to be delivered to my room never arrived. However, the breakfast was not bad. Location of the hotel is good, as it is just opposite to the railway and in vicinity to Janakpuri West metro station.... More

  1. The standard check-in time is 02 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
