    We had booked 2 suite double bed rooms at "Pebrock Residency, Ooty" from 30-April to 2-May-17 through GoIbibo. All payments were cleared in advance at the time of booking. I had called the hotel's back office in the morning of 30-April to confirm the booking and they said it is confirmed. Again I called up the hotel directly in the evening 2 times and got assured that everything is in place. We had reached the hotel on 30th April around 9.30pm to check-in. The hotel staff promptly said that they don't have any booking on my name. Then we called up goIbibo customer care and after long discussions, they accepted that they do have a booking on my name but don't have any rooms available. Meanwhile the manager and staff were continuously threatening us and kept telling us to leave the hotel premises. They didn't even let us use their washroom. I had my aged parents with me and they were exhasted by the day's travel and our prepaid, pre-booked hotel was refusing to serve us in every possible way. At 11.30pm the hotel finally arranged a single stingy, unclean room for us, with beds made on the floor at another branch of theirs'. The manager told us that, they did this for us on "humanitarian" grounds and that they are "helping" us by doing this and we should be "grateful" to them. As we all were extremely exhausted and as finding another hotel at that time of night was nearly impossible, we decided to except the room for the night. Next day the branch "Pebrock Heritage Inn, Ooty" moved us to a better room, though far from what we had booked originally. This was a single family room (we booked for 2 double bed rooms).... More

Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
