Value for money

Stayed for one night. Room was small but had all you need kettle, fridge, hairdryer, TV, shower and towels. Bed was comfortable. Short walk to transport and Olympia. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was basic but good for the price we paid.

It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in the room was so small I could not even open the window as there was no air in the room, the air conditioning unit I cud not get it to work it took all the room up on wall so you cud not see the tv properly. The bathroom was a joke myself and my boss where not impressed. The breakfast was awful we challenged the guy at reception as originally where booked for 2 nites we had to leave and asked for refund was told No.
The dirtiest hotel I have ever seen.

This badly run hotel is in desperate need of demolition. If ever there was a bad tribute to Fawlty Towers then this is it! The chap working on the door is sarcastic and blunt. The carpets are filthy, the bathroom sinks take at least an hour to drain and the bed covers are worn out and downright disgusting! Although cheap I think the lack of standards proves you get what you pay for. This was booked by a colleague for us as we were exhibiting at Olympia.... Never again!!
Worse than basic

My single room was just big enough for a single bed, and room to stand next to it, sideways with a noisy fridge at the foot. The toilet/shower room was just big enough, but was constantly wet with a dripping shower. The mouldy walls were cracking up with 7" holes in the plaster. I awoke at 02.30 due to passive smoking overpowering me and "eastern" oriented music coming through my (basement) window. Complaining to the "concierge" resulted in shrugs of "I don't understand" until I said I was going to bang on the door of the smoking music playing "guest" I the basement, and suddenly English was understood, and the issue resolved. Three of us paid £300 for two nights, in separate rooms, so it is cheap, but never again ! P.S. The 'continental Breakfast' was the cheapest bread, terrible coffee, anaemic boiled eggs and some kind of cornflakes.
Good budget hotel near Olympia
on Aug 26, 2017
If you want the Hilton or the Dorchester, you won't get it here, or at these prices....BUT
If you are looking for a good budget hotel 5 minutes walk from Olympia station and Exhibition Centre, then this is a very good choice.
Rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable, and my room had a mini fridge and a safe which you don't often get in a budget hotel. The wet room/toilet is a good use of limited space, and the shower worked well, and there was plenty of hot water.
There was also a plasma screen TV with a full range of Freeview channels.
Breakfast is buffet style fruit juice, coffee, cereal and toast, but with boiled eggs and cheese slices available.
