A NIGHTMARE TO STAY IN THE HOTEL

The hotel reception staff is not friendly. We had booked the hotel for a Wedding and made the payment 4months in advance and when we reached it was a nightmare.
Very Poorly Located
After Paid for more items in Breakfast they tell its limited and you have to pay extra
Common Area of the hotel is Stinking
Reception & Restaurant is in the ground floor and it is like a carpenters godown
You can find Dogs sitting in the reception to welcome you
Unhygienic Dining Area
The room was very normal no space for putting extra matress.
Lack of Staffs

Pathetic rooms and service. Toilets are extremely unhygenic even after booking 4 months prior to the date. Not at all recommended . We had to cancel the booking which created a lot of trouble and shift to a different hotel nearby
Oyo turns out to be a scam

I checked in on 25th May, Friday at 12 noon. The promise on the app looked to be great. Room near my meeting place in Wakad. AC, WiFi, Breakfast. Good, I booked. Helpfully, the Oyo rooms app said that the property is rated 4.
Dirty reception welcomed me. But then I thought that most of Oyo properties have such receptions probably becasue they are budget hotels. Though they were charging me Rs. 1168.00.
Taken to room 105. The guy started to put on the AC and it didn't work. I needed to go the toilet urgently and so I told him that we can do the thing later.
I went to the toilet. The ceiling above was peeling. The towel an old one but it was laundered as I could see. I did my stuff. My colleague came to pick me up and I went off to work for the whole day.
I came back at night. Dark reception and the 4 boys were perched on the reception table watching the IPL match with their shoes off. I ask for keys and the key is on the desk but they take their time in giving it to me.
I get to the room. The place shcks me. The sheets are old and semen stained. The pillow covers are used. The sheets are smelly. The WiFi does not work. The hot water is unavailable. The walls are peeling. The cobwebs on the wall stare at me. The TV is disconnected and there is no remote, it is defunct. The AC is defunct and no matter what I do I cannot get it to work.
I call up reception. The person tells me some outlandish excuse about WiFi not working. Some wires have to be joint and they will do it in the night.
I am exhausted and need to sleep. I put on the fan. Thankfully, that works and I sleep off fitfully.
Next morning, I do the complaining. The receptionist tells me that the night receptionist lied to me and WiFi was never going to be possible. Breakfast does not get ready by their own time of 8 am. I ask why and I am told the cook has come in late and it will take some more time to prepare.
I call up the Pune Captain to complain. The call is taken by their helpdesk in Gurgaon or Chandigarh. I tell them my problems. They promise to get back. Nothing.. No solution. In the meanwhile, I realize I have to still finish my presentation for that day's work with my clients.
The experience managers keep calling and asking about what are my problems. No one has a solution.
I decide to check out.
I get to the reception. I have already paid before arrival. The receptionist once again asks for the same amount. I say I have paid. He says he does not see it. I say that he needs to check well. There is a device from Oyo in his hand. It does not work and so he takes the pad outside on to the street and tries to get the 4G going on the device to register if I have paid. Suddenly, he yells. Yes, I have paid. I know I have paid. But he yells all the same.
I walk out of the hotel. A nearby coffee shop allows me to spread my work and finish in the next two hours and I am able to somehow make it to my clients.

I had booked a single occupancy room through OYO.
Room was neat and clean and had all the basic amenities, staff was helpful and supportive.
If you are looking for a high quality budget stay, this is the place to be .

Happy stay @ Hotel.
Would like to stay again.
It is value for money.
Room was decent and service was good.
Location is also accessible to the by road and easy to find out. Would recommend you to to my friends.
