    Nice one but the Price Too Much

    This room given to me was really nice and ok. Got all the Complimentary Benefits / Amenities. But Still I had Expected a Lot more for this Rate. I would have got better hotel than This for this Price I have Charged. The Plus Point here is Bus Stand is Just Opposite to us. Anyways I am Satisfied with the Service by this Hotel Guys.... More

    Avoid!......Stay away!!

    October 10th 2015 and on a transit overnite stop in Chennai we opted for this OYO Rooms listed Hotel Arun Int'l near Koyembedu Bus Terminal purely since i/we had to catch the bus to Puducherry(Pondycherry) on the 11th instant! ClearTrip strongly 'suggested' this hotel(having tied-up with OYO Rooms!) so we went knocking with a pre-booking voucher in hand! to our utter dis-apointment it turned out to be a run-down hotel seldom attracting guest if not for OYO Rooms! Room# 203 was allocated at random and without any choices albeit this was a 15 room property! Rancid smell greeted us as the lift door opened. Room #203 overlooking the main road had seen better times and was crying for attention & housekeeping! Dirty/dusty linen was changed -since we insisted upon check-in! Housekeeping was summoned to clean/scrub the toilet too before we stepped in to use it! Fresh towels and toileteries(courtesy OYO Rooms!) were issued nevertheless! Food & beverages were served on order(room service) and had to be pre-paid in cash! Free 'pass-word enabled' Wi-Fi was indeed fast, must say! Hot water was promised between 06:00 to 10:00 but the next morning we were told that the geysers were defunct -so hot water was provided by the bucket off some other room(?) or staff quarters! So much for the low occupancy. Complimentary b'fast(Veg. only) was, to our surprise, in the adjoining hotel(also belonging to the same management!) for which the front-desk issued a set of coupons the next morning -only between 8-10 a.m! The spread? Well, a variety of 'mini' eats served on a platter came with a cup of tea/coffee too to flush it down! Period. Luckily though KFC has an outlet in the very ground floor of the hotel property and the renowned A2B (Adayar Anand Bavan) too has a branch 50mts away so food was n-o-t an issue in the absence of a hotel in-house, as we discovered! Bottom-line would be that inspite of the 'convenience' of the Koyambedu Bus Terminal being a short walk away this OYO Rooms offered hotel should be best 'avoided'! It sure had possibly seen better days, once upon a time, but is going from bad to worse and all downhill! A lot many better hotels do exist nearby so if deemed necessary to stay 'near' Koyembedu do scout around for better hotels and prices too! ;-)... More

    Extremely disappointing

    Booked for six days with Expedia with a 72% discount. Even taking into account the discount the hotel was extremly disappointing. The day of arrival they told me there would be hot water from 7 to 10 in the morning. It turned out there would be no hot water on all six days I stayed there, not even from 7 to 10. Internet connection was horribly unstable, totally unworkable. Up till 5 times, the reception did provide me with wrong passwords. Some parts of the hotel in horrible condition, see attached photo. Breakfast which was outside of the hotel was good. Very nice waiters too. The cleaning lady was nice.... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
