    Ok rooms with smelly blanket

    I stayed for less than 12 hours in this hotel. I booked it really cheap via OYO. I arrived at around 1:30 AM and found the hotel staff who helped me to checkin and gave me the room. Room was in OK condition. The water heater was working and wash room was clean. Something that I did not like was that the blanket provided was having some foul smell. A very unbearable smell which kept me away from using it. With AC on and no blanket, it was a kind of not so good sleep. Somehow I slept for about 3-4 hours and finally gave up my sleep. The breakfast options were just bread butter or bread omlet which was ok. For such low price paid, I did not expect much on the breakfast side. But I do expect that a fresh bedding is basic essential how low we pay for something that call itself as a hotel. I was not provided with any OYO bathroom essential kit which I got in a Chennai OYO room recently. Not sure if its given to selective guests or available at selective hotels.... More

    This so called castle of Oyo is not even a clean jhopra(mud house).we are warmly welcome by dust ,spiders and foul smell in the room.further to enhance our comfort AC not working.last but not the least most awsum is the lift .it's a one-way ticket to hell you don't know if you would reach down or straight up to god...     Booked two rooms at oyo gangaram hospital(hotel rudra castle), rajendar nagar on 6-8-15 for 7 and 8-8-15 through make my trip. Paid in advance. Got confirmation message. Called oyo to reconfirm but confirmation denied. They said to speak with make my trip. Make my trip people said they would resend a mail to oyo. Again spoke to oyo. This time they confirmed the booking and sent me a confirmation mail. Reached the hotel but rooms not provided. Person at the reception denied recieving any confirmation from oyo rooms people. After two hours of waiting and continuous telephonic conversation with oyo and make my trip one room was allotted. Second room was allotted after another one hour of conversations. To make things worst, the rooms were not anywhere close to what oyo people had written and shown on their site. Let me try and describe the rooms. Blankets without covers, creaking beds, damaged bathroom door, dirty bathrooms with broken fittings. I again spoke with make my trip people and requested them to change the property .I was put on hold for one hour after which they hung up. Next morning I again spoke with make my trip call centre but did not get any confirmed reply. After this I got a call from the reception of this hotel(rudra castle). This person on the phone used foul language and told me not to complain regarding his hotel to make my trip. During the day I received a mail from make my trip saying they had provided me another hotel and I could check into the hotel. The details were mentioned. I straightaway informed hotel rudra castle reception regarding this change. I asked them to vacate the rooms and keep our luggage in their locker room so that we could collect it when we returned and check into the other hotel. The receptionist confirmed. When we returned in the evening to collect our luggage, the person at the reception of hotel rudra castle did not allow us to take our luggage. He demanded us to pay him 3000 rupees. He started using foul language, threatened us and snatched our bags. He said he had not received any payment fro oyo and we could not leave the hotel without paying. After another two hours of telephonic conversation with oyo and make my trip, we managed to escape from this so called hotel. This is a short narration of our experience with oyo and make my trip. A nightmare I swear. I have the pics of hotel rudra castle but i am not able to upload it now. Thanks nitin... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
