Lovely hotel in the heart of New Delhi

Extremely friendly staff, beautiful room, great service and 5* restaurant. Great value for money, and the reception staff even organized a guided tour for us. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to New Delhi.
Good hotel at that price point

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The rooms are big and some of the rooms even have a separate luggage/ wardrobe room which is amazing. All the rooms are well lit and most have good views. Staff to my opinion is nice and helpful. Breakfast is complimentary and the spread is well above average.
And now for the location. Its in one of the poshest areas in Delhi and is relatively less noisy. Most of the places such as south ex, safdarjung, hauz khas are either within walking distance or within five mins of an uber.
All in all a value for money hotel.

we had booked the entire hotel, 20 rooms for a family wedding
each room is different in terms of size and furnishing. so if you don't like your room ask to see other rooms. its bascially like a giant house with many guestrooms. don't take the rooms in the back of the building that don't have a lift.
staff is slow
there are many africa avenue hotels in delhi, you may land up going to the wrong one like we did, so please check the location
they lock the rooms with keys, so there is only one key given per room. no extras
heater needs to be on for half an hour if you need hot water
Perhaps the worst of my life. I had printed copy of confiermed reservation and yet was refused accommodation.

Very unhelpful and rude staff [Mr Narin and the young man with a deformed right ear]. Refused to call Agoda to resolve reservation issue. Refused to help with arranging a taxi. Would not even give me the phone number of local taxi service. Called the front desk. Bell rang 22 times and no one picked up. Staff was busy outside the hotel fixing his car. Bad breakfast. Unclean dishes.
worst ever experience

Absolutely pathetic experience with cleartrip and oyo rooms. There was no rooms available and oyo kept sending messages that booking is confirmed. But when i called the hotel they were annoyed saying that hotel is full and there are no rooms and it is being mailed to oyo. Yet i received 25 msg from oyo about booking.
This was an horrifying experience as i wasted lot of time , money and energy over it that day.
I would never ever like to book through you in future. Absolutely third grade experience.
