    Booked at the last minute as we had an early flight the following day & it was close to the airport. Hence we paid a very high price for this room which did not reflect the service or room we were allocated. The room was clean and did the job. The porter was polite but I found the reception staff very rude, especially at check-out - they simply ignored us. However, the room & bathroom was clean and the airport transfer provided was on time.... More

    i have stayed in this hotel several times in last two year.. i keep getting surprised by the quality and variety of rooms decor and style, i am currently on 7th floor and this room is very comfortable with the feel of home study. beautiful solid wood furniture & and fittings and gleaming marble and porcelain provide the quality touches, the food is always amazing here and i especially like the buffet Indian and western breakfast . over eating is hazard i can not avoid. close to international airport and major roads including the route to the old city. thanks mr tushar sathe for giving me good rats with room up gradation Regards , Namrata...     Reception Executives and other staff

    The Executives of the Oriental Aster did not play the expected role tarnishing the Hotel's image. One executive Mr. Joshua started it with; by giving false promises of 4 separate rooms to us in 3400 plus tax; but then when landed, offer was only for 2 rooms to four of us in twin sharing basis and was at a rate of 5000 plus tax etc..; and Mr. Sanjit at the reception was another horror there; for one of us went on leave in between where this fellow was requested to make it at the rate of 3400 plus tax for the single occupancy days and finally he agreed for 4000 plus tax; and the whole thing was bluffed up while check out and we paid the same 5000 plus tax for the single occupancy days also. Even the amount we spent extra is not the matter but the behavior and the attitude; spoil sport made us feel bad of not only the Hotel experience but also about the Mumbai experience and we were reminded of the song "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Jeena Yahan, Zara Hat Ke, Zara Bach Ke, Yeh Hai Bombay Meri Jaan" especially the lines ("Bekaaron Ke Hain Kayi Kaam Yahan") reminded us Mr. Joshua and Mr. Sanjit. On the other side the Big relief or the comfort we had was due to the fantastic hospitality by the Restaurant / bar executives and staff and their attitude, also the House keeping staffs; staffs helping the transfers in/out to/from the hotel and the cab drivers etc. This is our observation and feedback after staying for a month there. We believe that the hotel definitely has a good chance of serving better to its guest without the mentioned executives Mr. Joshua and Mr. Sanjit; for all other parameters are on track; positive with great hospitality and so; nearer to the Airport as well; food served is really good; all executives of the Restaurant / Bar are fabulous except the executives at reception /sales....     Good Ambience, Tasty foods, Well taken care of by the restaurant staff and Managers. well furnished rooms; courteous house keeping staff; RECEPTION HOPELESS TO GIVE COMMITMENT OF CONCESSION AND WHILE SETTLING THE BILL GOING BACK... Mr. Sanjit who accepted a rent of Rs.4000 for single occupancy was disguised himself while settling the bill and over phone he said he had not committed. Mr. Joshua who promised to give 4 rooms to us at Rs.3400 per room and after reaching the hotel he was not available. Reception people charged Rs.5000 per room on double occupancy only...Hence we four had to share the two rooms. Worst experience with the reception...... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
