    Bedsheets and towels were filthy. Had to call the staff to change them as they were stained and yellow as if they had not been washed in months. New sheets were slightly better. The bathroom had an thick odd smell which made staying in there for more than a few minutes at a time incedibly difficult. We were told breakfast is at 8 but when we went down there they were not ready for another hour. Other than that the staff were very nice and set us up with good tour guides and let us check out a little later. Our room had air conditioning and was close to the sea which was very nice.... More

    Good hotel with possibilities, but...

    The hotel is new and the house keeping staff is gentle mannered, though a little slow to respond to the needs of the customer. This is not a starred hotel so expecting finesse is too much. The restaurant of a new hotel, so nearly all equipment are functioning. This is a veg. restaurant and the quality-price match on the food is reasonable. (for Indian palette they tend to under-cook some of the food, but did not give me any stomach upset or anything. The service in the restaurant seemed understaffed, but the behavior of the staff was GOOD. The administration could do with a little improvement. They did goof up on room allotment in my case and being season time we had no alternative but to accept whatever was provided. They have a tendency to cheat on that front. The owner, Mr. Jhunjhunwala, seemed a decent person though. In any case they did not offer me any discount for their goof-up. If one is careful about that part one can have a nice stay. The location of the hotel is a stone's throw from the "Swargadwar", Puri. Yet this small distance did make the beaches uncrowded and much more fun.... More

    Staff and Management has a bit of tendency to cheat

    I had booked this hotel for my uncle and aunty. Since they are aged, I had personally called the hotel manager to make sure there trip is delightful and hassle free. But the staff attitude was not good and that kind of ruined their trip. The location of the hotel is good. Good view of sea from room. But the staff has a tendency to cheat. I had booked a pick up from railway station to hotel at an agreed price of 250/-. But on checkout they insisted to pay 400/-. Also I had pre-booked a drop back to station, but they insisted to go by auto which costed us extra. The room service staff's overall behavior is a bit arrogant. They did not want to provide menu for food and wanted us to order based on the items they were reciting. Will not recommend this hotel high on service. The trip had bad experience because of this. Avoid if you have a better option.... More

    We stayed for two nights and I found it really terrible as front office staff was not helpful.there is only one vetter to serve.food quality was really very bad and service is vey poor .we ordered our lunch and they provided in one hour.room size is very small.and there is no summing pool as mentioned in website.they offer very expensive travelling facility as we asked them to book a car for chilka lake they were charging 2500 and we called an outside cab he was charging 1000 rs.for this hotel staff has misbehaved with the driver told him to get-out. And they were charging 600 rs for puri temple but we paid only 200 rs to outside cab.there is no guard for safety.washroom was not very clean and there is no professionalism in staff.... More

    Blue Bay is an Good hotel , good staff and top class service, very good location. The hotel is on the beach and with superb sea view.....highly recommended for traveler to Puri. the room quality and amenities are really good. Only Pool required? Thank you Blue Bay for the awesome hospitality.... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 09 AM and the standard check-out time is 08 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
