    Stay at your own risk!
    on Dec 25, 2018
The old owner lured us to his hotel whilst we were passing by that road with our luggage. At first the old man was really sweet, polite, and appeared to care about us. He said Rs400 for 3 people, with wifi, hot water and 100 extra if you take an extra bed. So we stayed (without extra bed) thinking it’ll be okay. The old man also owns another hotel called Hotel Bharat Palace which is adjacent to this one. Fast forward next few days: -His wifi doesn’t work, he has an extremely low signal router, with fluctuating internet. -He has a traditional wood fire heated water tank, so there’s hot water only 2-3 hours in the morning. -Food is horrible!! DONT ORDER! -Most of the guests are village folks, they’re extremely noisy till late night and during early mornings as well, so forget good sleep and rest. -Rooms are not clean either. -The cleaner boys won’t listen to you if you request a mop in your room, they’ll just say leave the keys (no way i’m trusting them with my stuffs) -Indian style toilets, difficult if you’re not used to squatting. -Don’t accept old man’s offer to provide you with his car hire service. He will sound convincing and all but charge you a lot higher than normal. We got ripped off on the second day forts only tour. But didn’t take his car to Ajmer Pushkar tour. Just ask the old man his price and then compare with other agents outside, you’ll know what I mean. -I cleared my bills a night before leaving. But early morning next day while I was leaving with my luggage. The old man’s son asked me to meet his dad. The old man says you need to pay for the extra person!!! I just told him you hadn’t mentioned that while we checked in, no way i’m paying and left! All in all: 1. don’t stay!!! But if you’re on a budget, stay there but DONT trust the old man!! 2.The old man will ask you a high amount as advance, just pay as less as you can. 3. Hotel Om Palace and Bharat Palace is both owned by the old man so don’t let him trick you. P.S. Beware of the old man!... More

    September stay
    on Sep 29, 2016
I stayed at this hotel for three nights. It is close to the train station and metro, and about a 20-25 minute walk from the pink city. The room was cheap, but met the level of amenities. Wifi was extremely limited, so that one often had to o to reception to get a signal. The room was loud due to the thin walls and noise from adjoining guests, which was exacerbated by the lack of a any barrier between the bathrooms of my room and the next. The owner is friendly and eager to help, and seems to realize that more work needs to be done to appeal to international travelers. If you're looking for a cheap and acceptable enough room close to the station for a few days, it will probably suffice.... More

What you pay for is what you get
    on Sep 27, 2016
This small hotel which is very close to the train station and not too far from the pink city is excellently cheap. We had a double room for 400rupees per night. The guy running the hotel is very amiable, friendly and helpful. But that's the best about it. The mattresses were about 2 inches thick and felt like wood. The WiFi which you pay extra for is essentially useless/non existent We didn't have a window. We were sold a room with air con. They only had a ceiling fan. It is loud. Not from the roads but from people working inside the hotel. Cockroaches. Everywhere. If you're staying in Jaipur for a couple of nights and you're on a budget I would recommend it. But if you're not, I wouldn't. Perhaps the more expensive rooms are better. Perhaps not.... More
