Affordable place to spend some days in the beach
on Mar 1, 2017
I spend there 5 days. The place is very nice located, between the 2 main beaches. It has a nice restaurant and the staff is nice. They have open bungalows, it means, animals and insects can get in the room easily, but if you are ok with that then no problem, actually never had big propblems with that personally.
Friendly, Quiet, Clean, good Food

For 4 weeks I enjoyed the calmness of Colomb Beach, between super tourist Palolem, and somewhat more chilled Patnem Beach.
The people of the place were really kind and great. They helped when help was needed, were attentive, funny, and open hearted.
I would go there again if I'd stay in Cancona area.
The rooms are basic, spacious and clean. In my bungalow there was no hot water but i'm not sure if some others do have hot water. Sanitation system worked a treat.
Thanks to all. Lots good wishes
Fantastic value, friendly staff

Me and me friend ended up staying here after a night in Goa after finding out it was half the price of the place we were staying and the huts were a lot nicer. The hut we stayed in was spacious and had its only shower/toilet facility. There was also Wifi in the great little restaurant looking out at Colomb Bay - the most beautiful view of the sea and fishing boats! The family who run the place were so helpful and if we needed anything they would take us to the local store and also help us book rickshaws to other parts of Goa. Its also in a quiet location which is great in India but within walking distance to Palolem if you want some music/nightlife. Would 100% stay here again!
Couldn't ask for more - Memorable & Magic

Ocean Breeze was where we moved half way through our two week stay in Goa because it was over half the price less than the house we were in near by and twice as magical. We were transported to a gorgeous little beach hut, with the waves literally crashing on the side, very comfortable bed, mosquito net, and large working bathroom. Not only this but there is WiFi in the resturant which is next door so you get it in your rooms!! The restaurant is also gorgeous, my favorite for breakfast, the indian breakfast with paratha and bajhi with milk coffee and papaya lassi! - i have been craving it every day i have been back - all for the equivalent of £1.50
Any time of day its perfect to pop in and have a sweet & salt lime soda (30p) and chill out with the beautiful view.
They also have the nicest staff, cheeky, sweet and fun Povi and his team and people i will never forget - i couldnt recommend it more, you are a short walk to Patnem and Palolem and in a much nicer area than if you were staying 'in' each of them.
Watching the cycle of the daily coming and going of fishermen and cows on the little bay was lovely.
If you do go here also go and check out the bar opposite on the other side of the bay, with the pink railings, perfect for a late night snack of veg pakora and a large old monk and coke! Dilup and Agit are lovely and will tell you stories and you will stay for longer than one rum! Also the watermelon juice! These people have the right idea, go and see them before the Russians kick them out to build huge hotels.
Long may they last

- a beautyful place on the southend of Goa between Palolem beach and Patnem beach
- restaurant, garden and beach huts, wifi, scooter and kayak for rent and taxi service
- and one of the most beautiful sunsets we saw
- we are now the 5th year in a row in the ocean breeze and we come back.
