What a terrible mistake it was to select this resort, they claim to be a 4 star but it's no way even close to a 2 star.
Do we have any regulation on these ratings,
The washrooms were not clean, there were no toothbrush no basic amenities,nothing, no wifi, the room and bed sheets were stinking. God how we spent a night here. It was a horrible experience. Would request not to go there, it is a mistake

best room, tasty food, nice service, good swimming pool, good & decent crowd overall nice experience, breakfast, buffet, everything is good, one can enjoy there with group & family as well. nice part is they allow for early check in late check out

This is the worst hotel I have ever visited. The images on internet are misleading. They are shot in such a way that the hotel looks grand, but it is not. If u r used to staying in a posh or a decent hotel then avoid it. If u are used to staying in a lodge type of a setup, then it should not be a problem as it is extremely cheap/low/competitively priced.
The rooms are constructed with such low quality material that the noise in the adjacent rooms will easily reach u. It's overall a disaster for people who like decent stays.
It is good for people, who only come to hotel at night to sleep, and stay outside the entire day.

I generally don't review hotels on tripadvisor but the experience I had at Obetel has encouraged me to share my experience with the traveller community so that they are saved from going through an ordeal called "Obetel Grande resort". We went there on 28th July 2018 and booked a suite. They claim to be a 4 star property.
This is the experience which we got:
1. Parking - only limited parking available. Even if you have booked a stay here, u may end up parking ur car outside the hotel building on public road. So, no parking and parking assistance.
2. Room cleanliness - when we checked in to the rooms, we were shocked to see the room condition... The floor is dirty, wall plasters coming off, water dripping in the room from AC unit, stains on the wall, dirty toilets ( with hair everywhere and yellow stains on the toilet seat), bed sheets and pillow covers not fresh and hair lying on the bed, damp room. 3. hotel staff: very inexperienced, untrained and casual hotel staff. it clearly showed from the way things were managed.
4. Service levels: When we raised concerns on these issues, we were told this is the only room available and they can't change our room. Then when we asked them to cancel the booking and refund our money, they refused to do so.
Left with no other option, we checked out of hotel in less than an hour after checking in without getting any refund. They seem to enjoy easy money.
Please save your money, time and efforts by not considering this hotel as a stay option at Lonavla. You really wouldn't like to see ur hard earned money go in drain.
And pls be rest assured, this property is definitely not a "4 star" property...
Unhygenic filthy suite

We had booked a suite in this hotel. Everything from linen to washroom to room floor....all was dirty.
Booked a suite via HDFC diners club conceirge during emergency . Pathetic room. Very dirty and unhygenic. Just trying to cancel it and try some other place. Not worth the money and this hotel calls itself 4star. The hotel is not beyond 1 star.
Water was leaking, paint was coming out.toilet was filthy, shower was broken. When I ask for room change I am told it's the last room, but they charge me the full price.
