Well, this time my visit was for a logistic firm and we had a two days of intense discussion, and to be true as I have started my diet last week physically I was in bad condition, but Pritam helped me through out during my stay be it Lunch or Dinner he got me food according to my diet plan and even ensured that I got my breakfast accordingly. Thank you for the gesture dear. God bless.
Great success for teamwork.

We often travel to Novotel Kolkata for breakfast whenever I visit Kolkata. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would especially like to put a special word for Sumon, who keeps in mind all our requests from the previous visit and proactively produces them before we ask. Way to go and all the best. Ritabrata
Singing in the loo
on Nov 5, 2019
Do the French sing in their bathrooms? They would have to, if their homes are designed the way the Novotel rooms are - with bathroom doors that cannot be locked.
Some wise guy has used the golden ratio to design the apartment. Half of the place is the living room. Of the other half, one half is the bedroom. Of the remaining half, one half is completely dedicated to a biggish bathtub with lots of empty space. Of the remaining half, one half is the shower, and the other half is the toilet, or as the french may call it, the Toilette`.
Besides the huge waste of space, all of these are separated by sliding doors, and none of them can be locked. Presumably, since this is done all pish posh and fancy like, we are supposed to like it - the person manning the reception practically said so, till I asked him whether a similar system existed in his house.......
Anyway, all I can say is that we did a lot of singing.....
The place itself is nice, very Novotel. Stylish place, good service.
The food was a mixed bag though = the food we ordered from the Square was heavenly, but the complimentary breakfast was not good at all. This was really sad, because I love the food at all the Novotels. It was not just the choice (no pork sausage, no bacon, no parma ham, instead we have chicken tikka sandwich and tomato upma), but also the quality. The bread was hard, and the croissants crisp.
Did we stay on the wrong day - when the breakfast was left to the interns? Or is it always like this?
