Dark hole hotel with 5* prices and 1* service
on Dec 26, 2017
Example beer bottle says retail price Rs80, hotel charges Rs450🤬
Rude staff, very eager to take your money and not deliver.
Room’s are dingy holes without windows. The laminate floor tiles are bending or bubbling up. Very cheap material and atmosphere.
Getting to the hotel is difficult, no signage.
Spa service a joke, masseuse didn’t know what she was doing so I had a lovely back pain for a week afterwards.
Hotel is very noisy throughout the night (doors slamming).
Wake up call was 15 minutes late!
Very convenient if your flights are in and out of BOM Terminal 2
on Dec 22, 2017
I arrived at about 10PM at Terminal 2, Mumbai airport after a 15 hour, non-stop flight from Toronto. Since I was to fly out of Pune from terminal 2 the next morning, I had booked into the Niranta Hotel in terminal 2. Finding the hotel (unlike the one attached to the airport in Delhi) was very easy and did not require running a gauntlet of security and x-ray machines. After you exit customs and immigration, and BEFORE you leave the airport, turn left and follow the signs. The hotel is on the floor below so you can either take the elevator or walk down the ramp. The checking in process was efficient and fast and I was soon in my comfortable and clean room for a good-night’s sleep! Next morning the wake-up call was exactly on time. The room had a kettle and tea and coffee, which helped me wake up. Breakfast was included and was delicious! There is an automatic kiosk in the hotel lobby where I checked-in to my next flight and got my boarding pass. This made it very convenient the next morning. All I had to do was to take the elevator to the 4th floor, go through security and get to the gate – all of this took less than 20 minutes!
Apparently, there are two Niranta hotels at Mumbai airport so makes sure you are booked into the one INSIDE terminal 2.
A very nice hotel within the airport
on Dec 20, 2017
This is a very nice hotel situated within the airport. There are two wings. One wing is at the GF level of the arrival hall itself. We did not get room in that wing. There is another wing just two minutes walk in an adjacent building within the airport complex itself..You don't have to take a taxi etc. You can just wheel your bags / trolley and reach the place.
Rooms are very neat, clean, high class. Room size is similar to any Bombay hotel. Good clean nice bathroom. A restaurant is there but could not use it becuase I checked out v early in the morning.
More expensive than hotels around the airport like Orchid, Ibis etc but the class and facilities are also better and saves atleast half an hour one way. So one hour both ways. So when you have few hours only to sleep, the one hour makes a big difference, while doing a overnight transit at Mumbai airport.
Strongly recommend if you can afford the cost but worth putting the money if you are tight on time when transiting over night at Mumbai airport
Too much hype, poor service
on Dec 20, 2017
It took me an hour to find the place at international airport and no directions on the website, also it isn’t pay by the hour - it’s a 4 hour or 7 hour package - very misleading; and finally they don’t tell u that the charges are for single occupancy so u end up paying even more!! All quite vague and not so convenient as their website says so pls be careful when booking. Rooms are small without any windows.
Too hard to find, service leaves much to be desired

Ok-don’t get off at the arrivals floor (6), keep going to floor 4, then walk half a mile to the entrance. Well, you might as well stay at trident or Sofitel in bandra and get their chauffeur to pick you up!
So, if you are not asking for a quiet room because you are too tired, they will give you room 409 next to the restroom and diner. So you won’t get any sleep. Yes, the tv doesn’t work. Solution: “may I send you my assistant ?”. And no hot water in the shower. Wait, no water at all in the shower. Solution: “may I send you my assistant ?”.
Wait- did you want to stay here because of proximity to the terminal and to wash the grime away with a refreshing shower? How about a nap to kill the jet lag? Not happening, this is India my friend! The land of exorbitant taxes, people who pretend they speak English when the the guest is actually trying to speak Hindi.
