    Cheap, near the airport

    This is a hotel near the airport and good for maximum one night if you can handle a bit of grittiness. Pros: Near the airport - but not walking distance. Airport transfers (see cons). Friendly staff. Ac and wifi. Cons: Driver didn't come to pick me at the airport so I had to pay for a taxi. Room wasn't the cleanest - simple. Gave me filtered water when ordering mineral water....     Not upto the mark

    We stayed here for a night, since we had an early morning flight. It is not a hotel but a house converted into a hotel. Hotel is overpriced. Ground floor rooms were kind of stinky and not cleaned. We requested for a room change and got first floor rooms. But its the same, curtains were dusty as if not vacuumed or cleaned in years, bathroom was not clean, flush not working, poor room service. Had a typical smell in the which dint went after spraying room freshener. They provided complimentary airport pickup and drop. Even had complimentary breakfast, but we dint get to eat it since had an early morning flight.... More

    Worst hotel I have ever stayed till now

    I booked this hotel through make my trip The pics shown in the website doesn't matches at all with the actual hotel condition I would not recommend any visitor who is willing to book this hotel to stay over there It's better u stay at airport it self There's no lift in hotel The hotel staff doesn't have etiquette to talk to customers My booking included airport pickup For that I have to wait for 30 minutes as the hotel send the car after u are out from the airport We should not say that there were bed linens it was a normal bed with smell While leaving the hotel I gave my keys at reception and ask them to clean the room but when I returned at night nothing was cleaned It's really a very bad hotel and make my trip app should also first verify the hotel and then only make bookings In future will never use make my trip app ...     It's ok if you need free airport pick up and drop

    We were on our way back to Dhaka from Bangalore; Kolkata was our stopover. So I chose this hotel which offered free airport pick up and drop. Though the hotel is close to the airport, it is located on a very narrow, crowded and dirty by lane of typical Kolkata neighborhood. The room was just ok with an old style AC and not-so-clean bed sheets. There was no lift or elevator. But the worst part was the condition of the bathtub and bathroom fittings. Old fittings and broken bathtub made us quite uncomfortable while using it. Room service was prompt; food served as lunch was good enough. The staff was friendly but reluctant to accept credit card payment although in my booking confirmation it was clearly mentioned that it accepts credit card payment; I had to pay for the food in cash; however on my insistence they accepted credit card payment for my hotel bill. We also found the staff quite interrogative, for example, even after showing our passports, they kept on asking: "Where are you coming from?" "Where were we going to?" "What was the name of the "police station" near our residence in Dhaka?" "What was the purpose of our visit?" etc. We felt like we were at an immigration counter. We know they have to file a report to the police about their boarders; but cant they do it with more sensitivity and finesse? The apprehensive attitude of the staff was quite unwarranted. Basically it was a very short stay of about 4 hours, but not an experience that anyone would like to remember or cherish.... More

    Only advantage is proximity to the airport

    This hotel was also listed as an oyo room. We booked the room online. The room they gave was spacious but toilet was not clean. We asked them to change it, n they gave a much smaller room saying that this was the only available option. The toilet in this room was better not really clean. We did not have much options so we had to settle with it. When v switched the AC on, it started making big noise n v had to change the room for the third time. The room is quite different from what is projected on the website! So go for it only if you don't have other options.thterior was quite shabby unlike that projected in the online photo... More
