Geat location, staff and price.

An oasis of calm in a challenging city. Incredible rooftop views of the nearby palace where guests can eat from the veg restuarant menu. Beware that, like many ither Indian hotels, although stating card payment is available, frequently it is not. Bathrooms arr as you would expect from a budget hotel but cleanliness is reasonable and staff ultra helpful.
The venue of the Ranthambore Festival - surreal experience
on Jan 21, 2018
Attending the Ranthambore Festival is an amazing experience and the best way to see it is to stay at the nahargarh palace which is the venue itself. The Ranthambore Festival is surreal, the music, the food, the malt tasting, the folk dances, the hot air balloon, the wild life - they have it all....
The property is built like a palace and belongs to the Alsisar family. I'd recommend this property for sure during the festival. A safari at the Ranthambore tiger sanctuary is just outside the palace make sure you get the early morning slot.
Dirty rooms, Dirty Food
on Jan 4, 2018
Upon check in our room not been cleaned except for the bathroom. The floor had shocking amount of dirt and hair on it (see pic), there were hairs in the bedsheets along with a dirty ashtray. When we brought this to staffs attention, they sent a boy in to clean who clearly had no idea how to clean. It took them over an hour to get it all sorted out and we didn't get to bed until late. Common areas also had dirt and hair that cleaning staff merely pushed around during the day.
Questionable hygiene for the food as well, which was served over plastic plates which were often dirty. I asked for hot water to make tea and there was dirt and things floating in it. Staff was really nice but it was our
worst hotel stay in all of India due to lack of hygiene and cleanliness.
Can't get much better value for money

After coming from Agra, which is unfortunately pretty grotty, this was a really pleasant surprise. As others have said, the location is difficult to find for locals, but for us that was a positive since its in a quite spot with very nice views from the rooftop restaurant.
The service of all staff was excellent, insisting in doing everything for us with a simple call from the room- they gave us towels, bought train tickets, gave us advice on what to visit, etc. Rooms are good, with nice hot showers and comfy bed- great for the price. For us though, the best thing was the restaurant- cheap and very tasty. We absolutely loved everything we tried, especially the jeera aloo and butter paneer masala and the waiter was nice and friendly guy.
We definitely recommend this new and clean hotel: helpful staff, great food, good rooms.

A great hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms, restaurant with a great food in really good prices, and amazing rooftop. Above all of this things is the stuff- all of the people that work in the hotel are really nice and helpful. They cared about everything and did the maximum to give the best feeling while staying there. Highly recommended!
