    Worst, worst and worst stay ever

    Cant even tell this is a Hotel, Instead of staying here you could have Jump from a mountain. No Staff, No Approach road You have to climb a mountain to reach the place, Very very very Dirty rooms, No water on the bathrooms, No Food Nothing even i am not getting the bad words to describe about this Hotel.     I was here with my friends during my first trip to Kerela. Not even a single thing was at pace during our stay. The rooms were dirty and room service was pathetic. The food was also very bad in taste. In short, if you want to spoil your trip, then only think of this resort.... More

    Suicidal Stay in Munnar!!! (A Big NO even if its last option)

    We were group of 6 (my family) booked this resort through a travel agent & got all confirmations for 2 day stay along with vouchers. We reached this resort around 8:30pm in evening & were all set for check in. Here is the worst experience of our lives. This resort is on top of the mountain & the approach road is like a vertical trek for person & vehicle as well. Our Ertiga was not able to take us to the top at all. We had to climb with our bags.. When we reached to the top dead tired, came to know from reception that they sold our rooms to someone else as we did not show up till 6p.m. I was so damn angry & lost my head completely. How could they give away our confirm booked rooms to someone just without informing us. After 2 hours of terrible fight, manager says that by mistake they gave our room to someone else. He was so calmly saying that its a regular deal for him to do so for getting more money. I did give him my piece of mind in a very abusive way as I had no control over my head because my entire family was waiting dead tired as reception. Even after paying the advance money 1 month ago they sold our rooms for more money. Thanks to our Travel agent as he accommodated us to a resort nearby at midnight but it was a 3 hours terrible mishap. Then for 2nd day they did shift us early morning but this is a terrible experience. We did like the rooms & the view for our 2nd day stay but there were many issues with Water & many such basic things in the rooms to which we had to call the reception which is like 1/2km (Sarcasm) away from our room. For me this resort is a big NO even if its a last option in whole of Munnar. There are surely better resorts in Munnar than this. Guys, please be careful before you choose this as your nightmare Stay.... More

    If Wes Craven had stayed on this place, then he would have certainly directed a movie called Nightmare in Munnar (Wes craven directed Nightmare on Elm Street). The words Heritage, Resort and Cottage are not the right words to describe this property. Reaching this resort is a journey you are not likely to forget. The road is very steep, almost at an angle of 35 degrees in some places with no guard rails. It took us 4 attempts to get our car (an Indica) up the steep sides to this place. Our driver was told that some one had died a few months back while trying to reverse of the vehicle. It is one of the dirtiest places, I have been in my life. There were 4 large cockroaches, a couple of large spiders, innumerable small cockroaches in the room. The bathroom had a leaking water heater and it was right on top of the commode. It seemed to me that the chances of being electrocuted were significantly high. The blanket was so rough that I had to check if it had sand paper attached to its inner side. We landed up there on our 1st day of our Munnar trip at 1:00 AM in the morning and we checked out at 8:30 AM. I am not likely to forget those 7 and a half hours spent there. There is no semblance of a room service, breakfast was so bad (the vegetables were rotten) that we did not touch it. The only bright spot was their manager Anoop, who seemed to be understanding and amiable. But it can never be enough to offset what I felt there.... More

Overview

Overlooking the misty hilly peaks, this cottage style resort is located at Pallivasal. There are nine cottage style accommodations maintained with hi-end amenities. Guests can satiate their taste buds to the taste of some mouth-watering local fares at the multi-cuisine restaurant, which is open from 7a.m to 10p.m. Outdoor enthusiasts can indulge in sightseeing and boating, which are arranged on requests.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
