    I was in Madras to attend a training at British Council at Anna Salai, hence was looking for a good hotel in nearby areas. This hotel became visible on Google map & I visited the place. I subsequently stayed in the hotel for two nights and found it okay. The rooms are small, no doubt, but they are clean. The room service is quick. The tariff is also okay considering the fact that no free breakfast/ tea/ coffee is provided. Yes, free wi-fi facility is available and there seems to be no restriction on the usage. Many important offices (passport office, US Coonsulate etc) are nearby. This hotel is definitely a safe place to stay. Recommended for budget travellers.... More

    Situated close to Mount road ,Land mark is near LIC building on Mount road . Good ,clean rooms ,AC works well . Good hotel at a distance of 0.5 KMs away, no restaurant in house. Spencer Mall is at walk able distance, good place to stay with family . Staff is helpful Value for Money place... More

    Had visited Chennai and needed to be nearer to Spencer Plaza on Anna Salai. Chose this hotel. Cab driver had a tough time finding the place. Is just 100 meters off the arterial Anna Salai, yet the access from the main road to the hotel is very narrow. Further during the day, two wheeled vehicles and food carts occupy the space further narrowing the space available for a car to traverse. These days, with the metro work in progress, closed off access and one ways make the approach that much more tough. It is tiny hotel, but completely functional. Lift worked. Room size sufficed for two adults and an infant. Air conditioning worked. Hot water was available on the tap. Toiletries was limited to two bars of Medimix ayurvedic soap. Once inside the room, noise levels from outside were minimal. Quality of towels, bed linen and blankets were non-luxurious, yet functional. The 24 hours reception service was good and helpful at all times. Languages used were English, Tamil and Hindi. They do not have a kitchen/restaurant, but will fetch food from nearby hotels and serve in their own utensils and cups to the room. Helpers are primarily from outside the state and will tend to speak in Hindi. Go for it, if you need to be in Chennai for a short while, need to be near the key area of Anna Salai and most importantly for just USD 20 a night, it is a steal!... More

    Pleasant Surprise

    Very late booking thanks to Booking.com placing us in a hovel. Managed to book this and move in during a power cut following the recent storm. Rooms were clean and ample size with ac, fan and bathroom similar. No hot water and despite constant complaints, no resolution, it is India. Staff were pleasant enough but couldn't help when it came to stopping the noise outside early every morning whilst they sank a borehole. Good location for seeing the city/cricket, although the whole city is in turmoil due to Metro works. Down an alley off the main road, don't let it put you off.... More

    WHY STAY ANYWHERE ELSE ???

    Hi Fellow Travellers, I'm from the UK and booked online based on Photo's and Reviews...I hit the Jackpot ! The Staff are more than just helpful, nothing is too much for them to make Your stay comfortable, organize Your Transport,( at correct prices,) organize Trips, give accurate directions to attractions and advice on all manner of travelling issues that may confuse the first timer in India...Rooms are clean, Bug Free, Comfortable, Roomy, Well furnished, and Quiet. A string of Restaurants nearby serve Cuisine from all of India & beyond..Take-Aways can be arranged at reception, Tea/Chai & Coffee always at hand. A genuine Smile awaits You and keeps You warm until departure..I am a well Travelled Man and have just stayed here for a Month on Business. Be sure to visit the Crocodile Farm. I Will be back. Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
