Don't book it this resort
on Oct 7, 2017
This resort is closed coz it's under maintenance still they accepted our booking through Goibibo. And when we reached there after 3hrs travel the owner refused to meet us or give any clarification. Our whole trip was messed up because of this. Horrible experience

We come to their restaurant every day,the staff look after you well, they are friendly, always smiling and bend over backwards to make your visit enjoyable. They don't put load music on in the daytime,at night the music is load enough you can talk without shouting.
Average holiday resort

To start with Morjim beach is in North Goa and is close to 55 kms from Airport. The place is majorly occupied by Russians. This particular hotel is bit tough to locate as you have to go through some muddy tracks.
Probably you could have a good stay when you visit during the peak season (Nov - Jan) , otherwise its horrible. I had booked this on OYO and it was being projected as a premium hotel but trust me its worse in off season. I simply don't want to demean the hotel's reputation so I am quoting off season. My stay was in Oct 2016 and I was supposed to check in between 12-3 pm and when I was there I found the reception to be vacant and it was so dirty that we lost hope.I have the pictures which I will upload soon. Finally after 15-20 min someone came down (Hiding the names intentionally) and said he was not aware of any such bookings. All the logs and bookings were checked but he couldn't be sure. Finally he called up someone and said Sir, the room is not ready and it will take 30 minutes to be ready as they were running short of staffs. Finally I saw the manager / receptionist picking up a mop, buckets, phenyl, bedsheets etc. cleaning it and handed it over by 4.50pm. All the room dirt was comfortably hidden behind the door. Sidelamps in the room don't work, exhaust in bathroom is dysfunctional and surprisingly doesn't even has a switch to operate (May be automatic...kidding). The cable signal was pathetic...totally blurr and when I confronted the manager he told me Sir, across Morjim its a known issue and people live with it. I was unable to figure out that what took for OYO team to qualify it as a "Premium Hotel". Probably OYO management should do a proper competency check on its sales and customer team and then onboard.
Coming back again, the kitchen and the restaurant are on beach side and you get an excellent view but the service of restaurant is pathetic ..of-course the same reason that they are running out of staffs which in fact was true because I saw similar faces doing all work. Even a cup of tea and slice of bread took 45 minutes to an hour. Maybe I was ordering the wrong dish as I was saw drinks and Chinese cuisines were being served pretty fast. If someone is running short of staff then why do they accept booking at the first place. People are not there to listen to their stories.
There were hardly any rooms occupied but still I got a message from OYO in the morning that "Checkin before scheduled time is not possible as we are running on full occupancy today".
I am more dejected at OYO than the hotel so guys please leverage my experience and beware of commitments from travelling portals, especially OYO.
Name has changed to Morjim Holiday Beach Resort

This is an awesome place to enjoy goa in a peaceful manner. Morjim is far away from the crowd. If you like to just relax and enjoy the beach then this is the best resort you will ever get in this budget. They have a private beach to relax. The food was really good especially the breakfast part. Rooms were clean enough. If you need a car or bike to roam around Goa than, they will arrange it for you.
Excellent relaxing hotel
