    We booked this online at very decent price for family suite which had 2 big roomes along with lobby . Though the view from rooms are not available however roof top restaurant was nice. They serve limited food which can be disadvantageous. The staffs are cooperative. Suggest to hire this hotel only if u have private vehicle as it's on height.... More

    We came across this hotel on one of the travel site and though the reviews were good, we were skeptical about the quality of facilities on offer, while making the booking. We made the booking as we were getting a good deal. The hotel is located on a small hillock, couple of kilometers away from the Railway Station/ Bus Stand. The road leading to the hotel is very steep and at some places, quite narrow. We had driven to Ooty in our vehicle, but for people without conveyance, there are Auto Rickshaw available to go uphill and walking down to the town from the hotel is not very tiring for healthy persons. Hotel can also call Auto Rickshaw if required. The property is bit difficult to find, but rather than asking around, it is better to call the hotel directly and ask for guidance. The facade of the hotel is not very impressive and layout of the rooms is also simple. There is sufficient parking near the hotel. The reception area is on the first floor, accessed by lift and stairs. The building housing the reception area appeared to be a separate structure. On reporting at the hotel, the check in was smooth. Front desk staff were courteous and responsive to our needs as well as forthcoming in advising us about tourist attractions in the town. The best part of the hotel are the apartment like rooms, consisting of two bedrooms and a sitting area. Each bedroom was in itself like a self contained room of a small hotel with attached bathroom, LCD TV and other amenities. The sitting room also had a LCD TV. The rooms were clean, well furnished and comfortable. There is no AC in the room and it is not required in Ooty. No of the rooms provide any scenic view. The restaurant is located on the roof. The complimentary South Indian breakfast on offer was reasonably good. We had ordered dinner in the room. The food served was good and room service was reasonably quick. Room service and restaurant staff did not give any reasons to complaint. Some of the front rooms have corridors running behind them which provide access to other rooms. The bathroom and bedroom windows of front rooms open onto these corridors. The occupants of the front rooms have to exercise caution if they want to keep the windows of theirs bathrooms and bedrooms open. In the bathroom, hot water connection is not provided to shower head. Hot water is available in the taps, which has to be collected for use. This is one inconvenience, which hotel can very easily address by providing hot water connection directly to shower head.     We booked our rooms at a well known resort through stayzilla, but due to some reason the resort had to cancel our booking. Stayzilla people made search on our behalf and arranged this hotel as an alternative. It was really a treasure, as the place was very clean, very near to the city, and with a restaurant. The food was good as per normal hill standards, but could be better. The staff are very courteous, and were very helpful. The main bazaar is one km distance so you can have a drive to get anything you need. This place is very much suitable for friends getaway, and big families . The reason is all their rooms are apartment style with 2 bedrooms and a common hall. Its reachable easily from the main roads.Dont use google maps to reach the place as it took us through dangerously narrow roads, but actually the place has a very simple connection from the ooty bus stand. You get good views from the restaurant on the top floor but no rooms give u any sceneries. But overall a very worthy place for the money paid. We enjoyed the place very much.... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
