    We were the second guests under new management. We arrived with no booking. We were welcomed by the hotel staff, showed different room options and fully informed about the costs. Each room has a balcony with a view of the mountains, great bonus. The room was spotless clean, specious and comfortable. Nice & comfy bed, in general everything is better compared to other places we stayed in so far. They serve both continental and Indian breakfast which we tried and was very tasty. Excellent customer service at any time. Great location, very close to Munnar but far enough to be quiet. On the way to Munnar breath taking views of tea plantations. Amazing place!... More

    After the new management took over this property we were there first guests!! We were recommended this hotel by Mr.Xavier Fulgence who was in charge of the Travel Desk at The Grand Hotel,Kochi. We are really thankful to him for his recommendations! Hotel/Resort is now run by Mrs. Priya Nair,Azad Samuel with there other partners. Believe me Priya and Azad, both are gem of a person! When we arrived the resort was just into its renovations final stages and both Priya and Azad were the only persons available there! Still they both managed and toiled hard to make our stay comfortable and amazing! We finalized the rooms and went for sightseeing and by the time we were back our rooms were ready! Location: This resort is around 7 kms before the Munnar town,meaning while travelling to muunar you will reach this resort first and then the munnar town! So you will find peace as you are away from the town's hustle-bustle! Yet you can reach the town within less time! Rooms: We stayed in the Deluxe category room which was very comfortable and had amazingly scenic view!! Bathroom was clean and had 24hrs hot water! Hot/Warm water for drinking was also provided by default along with packaged drinking water.The lights in the room were bright enough to illuminate the entire room.The room also had a balcony from which we could see the beautiful forests and mountain ranges of the Idukki district!! We all had a quality sleep too in that peaceful and fresh atmosphere! Ambience: The plants and trees around are beautiful and it really gives you a lot of positivity. The birds chirping around really makes you happy and cheerful! There are varieties of birds around and some may even be of rare species as there chirping sound is just wonderful! Food: The breakfast was included in our stay.I would like to specially mention that as there were no staff that day (since the resort was just started) Priya and Azad themselves prepared the breakfast for us and served us at 8 am as we had to leave for airport early! For this they both woke very early to make all the preparations and it was really commendable! The breakfast they served was idili (kind of steamed rice pan cake),coconut chutney,puri (kind of fried pancake),bhaaji (vegetable),watermelon and tea.Believe me each food dish was tasty and superb! The chutney was out of this world! Watermelon was fresh,sweet and watery.Tea was amazing! Service: We felt more like home while staying at Mist Inn and Priya and Azad were more of a family to us.They ensured each and every aspect was taken care and our stay was comfortable! Azad and Priya also helped us out to plan our sightseeing and referred us few good restaurants to have our dinner at and also the places where we could buy tea and spices (since munnar is famous for Spices,tea & coffee plantation) Overall, would highly recommend this place and would urge everyone to stay at this place and have a good,warm homely experience!!     Mist inn resort in Munnar near 2 mile its around 8 km far from City center.View from room is very good.It is nice place for honeymoon couples.Hotel staff are very cooperative and humble Mr. Sangeeth Sasi is very helpful.Food choice is limited ....over all good experience.... More

Overview

Mist Inn is a beautiful hotel located in the beautiful area of Pallivasal in Munnar. This hotel has a valley view with a large waterfall right in front of the resort in the monsoon. The hotel is well-furnished with the best hotel amenities like: 24-hour front desk, airport transfer at a surcharge, restaurant which is open from 7 am to 9.30 pm, laundry facility, free newspaper in the lobby, concierge services, security guard, medical services, backup generator, travel counter and much more.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
