Just a night stay
on Feb 10, 2018
The property is located in the close vicinity to park street and is very much in the market area. Sleep aint too sound due to the hustle and bustle in the night. the staff is courteous and well behaved. Suggested if only night stay needed. The rooms are kinda small.

I stayed in mayur residency, kolkata from 5th nov 17 to 13th nov 17 with my parents mr. and mrs. Baldua, Indore....
Our stay was excellent with homely atmosphere. Thanks to Mr. Barun Biswas (GM of hotel) and other staff members to make our kolkata visit memorable.
Room service , food etc are all very good.
Wish to visit kolkata again and stay in same hotel.
Thanks once again

A HOTEL WITH FALSE CLAIMS.
on Sep 9, 2017
When I was checking for a hotel to stay with my family I had 3 choices - Sapphire suites, Hotel Lindsay and this hotel. When I asked them about the connectivity with metro station they told me that it is 7-9 minutes walk. It is a good 15 minutes walk and it is impossible to get any other transport because this road is one-way. I stayed from September 3rd to 9th. I had a very comfortable stay rapport with the staff till last date. But on the last night of my stay a large group of Marwaris from Rajasthan came and they were drinking throughout the night and were disturbing the full area. I went and requested them personally and also the receptionist went and requested. But these illiterate country bumpkins were not able to understand the sanctity of a hotel. My only question is - why the management did not use the ' right of admission reserved by the hotel' clause and throw these idiots out in the middle of the night// This hotel has got a bar attached to it and which they are not telling anywhere in their website. I myself got a shock when I found a bar over there. Anyway it is not such a crowded bar or something because the hotel is pure vegetarian. All this can be overlooked because of the goodness of the staff.
