    How long do you exactly spend in your room on holidays minus your sleep time? This place has good locks on the door, AC ( if you want to pay extra ) a good ceiling fan, fridge and tv. Good location in Small Vagator, near the great Alcove hotel / restaurant which I've previously reviewed. Maxen have a tiny shop for essentials and they can also exchange money for you. There's a tiny cafe nextdoor which has good internet access. Most of the tiny bars and hotels will advertise 'free WiFi' NONE of it is ever any good, takes ages to load a simple comment on a social networking site ! Don't expect luxury staying here, it's worth £6 of anyone's money if you only plan on sleeping in your room !... More

    I visited this place with friends a few months back and found it to be pretty comfortable. It had good parking space. The staff was friendly. The service was good. A bit far from the beach but doesn't matter if you have your own vehicle. All-in-all enjoyed my stay there and will definitely come back.... More

    Clean - Value For Money

    Visited in the second week of November, with college friends. If coming by train Thivim is a station closer to vagator , would need a car to travel till vagator (which you can get outside Thivim stn). Maxen guest house is very clean and value for money. No food served. it has a general store, wine shop, internet cafe and a travel agency attached to the guest house. You can also get rented Scooters like Activa, Deo ect. at 150 rs per day at the same place. we lived in double bedroom non ac rooms for which we were charged 300 per night. An important landmark near this place is the Vagator Petrol pump, this petrol pump also has an ATM machine.... More

    A charming, great value budget guest house in Little Vagator

    We stayed in a nice big double room with a balcony, fridge and bathroom for Rs 400 a night in early Dec 2011. It would've been more but we stayed for two weeks. We had a great view of the nice street corner, with people coming and going, and we could get food brought up from the great little downstairs cafe too. We moved here after staying at nearby Sunita's guest house (which isn't a bad place at all). They have some rooms above and behind great little Pottala Cafe, which serves great, cheap, Tibetan food and some Thai dishes. Next door is Maxen Travels and internet cafe, which is great if you want to get a Goan sim card or USB modem for your laptop. The family are so helpful - they came and put nails in the wall so we could hang our mosquito net. A friendly place with a nice atmosphere, and only a very short walk to Ozran beach and Little Vagator beach.... More

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
