What an amazing place. So tranquil. Avnish and Ushi are great hosts. The staff who work for the, are so helpful. Nothing too much trouble. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. There is lovely balconies to sit on. Avnish takes a tour of Old Delhi which is a must. Organises all taxis etc.
Friendly, comfortable and joyful place

We had a small groups here for a few days and Avnish and Usha, the owners, could not have been more helpful. The house has 2 lovely terraces that allow you to sit out and the ground floor rooms each have balconies. The rooms are very clean and the whole house is tastefully decorated.
A potential downside is, if you have mobility issues, there are quite steep stairs but the men who work in the house are always there to help with luggage etc.
Master is it right In the centre but is not far from the main train staton and a very short ride to Connaught Place.
Tranquil and zen

The owners are completely invested in their guests. The pick up at the airport is indispensable, specially if it is your first visit. When you arrive you are made so welcome. The owners even propose wonderful visit of hidden areas in Delhi. There is excellent home cooking to order at very reasonable cost. The breakfast is fabulous, either Indian or a copious continental. The area of the house is just perfect, walking distance to Karol Bagh for shopping and the Metro. Otherwise you are in a community area which is quiet and safe but within easy reach of shops ATM machines etc. There is a wonderful rooftop area where you can relax and yes even hear the sound of birds!after a day of noisy touring in Delhi it is a real haven to return to. I am a solo traveler so rooms are slightly cheaper if it is your case. Rooms are very spacious with wonderful modern bathrooms and everything exceptionally clean. Last but not least they have a taxi driver that can drop you or even take you on a day excursion of your planning. Everything here is done for the guests in a very personalized and homely atmosphere. Security is impeccable
Stay for a congenial welcome.

Ushi and Avnish were hospitable hosts. Avnish is an intrepid traveller and likes to take guests on tours.
Ushi gave us an upgrade for the first two days and we had a very comfortable room on the top storey. This room also shared the terrace with another room and provided a semi-private seating area. The rooms do not have a TV so you are shielded from the racous Indian TV and can interact with other guests or Ushi and Avnish in the common room and share experiences.
However, the upgraded room was needed on the third day and we were transferred to the middle level and this room did not have an attached bathroom.
My mother stayed at this B & B for one night and was delighted with her room next to ours on the terrace and the four poster bed and hot water bottles to keep the spring chills away. She also enjoyed the breakfast.
Ushi provided some lovely dinners, more than we could eat.
The narrow steep stairs and the fact that we could not leave the premises without raising the staff to run around to the side laneway and open the outer door was a little trying.
Our second room did not have an attached bathroom and was in fact the common bathroom attached to the common room. Privacy became an issue as the bathroom was difficult to use when there were other guests using the common room as there was only a few feet between them and the bathroom door which had slats.
The location of the premises was difficult to find on your own and the numbering sequence confused taxi drivers, making it difficult when you do not speak the language or returning after dark. There are no local restaurants, except holes in the walls across a very busy and dusty road.
The internet was best at the middle level in the common room.
Great home stay!

The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I'll plan my next trip to Dehli around the availability of this gem, located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was great and the option of having dinner in their hotel - after a long day navigating the chaotic streets of Dehli - is very welcome indeed.
