    Worst experience Ever you can have

    I was visiting Ooty for the first time with my family and Grand parents. Rooms are pathetic, water facility is worst, no hot water in such cool weather , even the Drinking water is not provided and the water provided for Drinking is contaminated with Mud. The water for bath is Mud water and when asked they says we are filling our tank and hence it is happening, but why will it be in for whole day. Don't ever pay for whole trip on the Day of check in them you are struck and they don't refund money. They try to force you to pay for the all the days you planned for , but don't pay Finally to summarize worst place to be for a Trip ... More

    One of the worst hotel in India. Do not ever book it.

    I have booked it through Yatra.com one month prior to the actual travel date. But when I reached the hotel with my old parents and 2 small kids, they simply refused to give us the cottage saying all the rooms are full. Called Yatra immediately for help, but unfortunately Yatra told me to find out another hotel without taking any responsibility. So people do not ever book through yatra.com.... More

    Dear sir, With reference to our telephone conversation, I have explained that we were made to understand that the rooms showed as per site photos would be available, however the rooms received and alloted r very very different to shown. 1. Rooms r 10 x 10. 2. Room is clean but bedsheet r torn, Blankets r too torn, curtains too torn ( dirty ). 3. Hot water facility is poor. No Shower. 4. Reception responce also poor. 5. Taxi pick-up, Driver very courteous n good. 6. Rooms r cramped. 7. Lots of mosquito r there in the rooms n ib Toilet. Had discussion with customer care - Mr. Ajay on +91 124 671 8800.     I visited this hotel in march , it was a good experience , we stayed fr 2 days good water facility and staffs were coperative , we cooked ourselves they gave us all vessels and stove also market was near . Over all we had a good time worth fr your money ... More

Maruthi Cottages is located 1 km from the central bus stand and railway station, This hotel offers comfortable accommodation in Ooty. Guests have internet connection at the hotel. The cottage possesses a furnished drawing Hall, two double bedrooms with private bathroom, kitchen with utensils and round the clock room service. The cottage also provides a choice of four double bedrooms. The cottage offers all the basic in-room amenities required for an ideal stay.

Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
