    Last week stayed at Martin's Comfort as a transit arrangment. Located in South Goa. It of the same group which owns/runs neighbouring Martin's Corner. (What a contrast !!!) Martin's Comfort is an average hotel, with poor accomodation. Front desk staff not attentive. Took same bill amount without confirming earlier payment. Nighrt staff on duty did not allot room to my son without a full payment; though I had specifically informed the front desk staff about this late check in and payment part. Rooms are average. Outside view was average. Bathroom door was not locking properly. No action taken inspite of lodgiong complaint. Only solace was morning breakfast which was served as per our choice ( very guests in the hotel). The service at breakfast lounge was good. ... More

    It was one of the best hotels in south goa, extremely beautiful property with a really friendly environment, the pool was amazing and hygienic, the location was beautiful. Rooms clean and tidy and had great service. Also their resturant serves delicious food, totally loved it. ... More

    We were a family of 5 on a tight budget hence chose Martins and would say it was a good choice....Pros...great for the price hence facilities especially pool and clean rooms for the price is superb and I would have given them a 4 rating if only they had a better in house restaurant with room service and wife....we checked in at 7am and they were kind enough to allot our rooms at no extra cost but with 2 kids who were hungry there were no options of food till 11am since they don’t have a kitchen and martins corner and even fishka open at 11am....it’s south Goa during the rains so don’t expect too many restaurants providing an early breakfast....recommend Fishka which is a 5 min walk and Zeebops on it or day beach for meals... More

    Martins Comfort Is a comfortable and clean 2* hotel, staff are helpful specially Rocky who was always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was included in our booking, simple menu of fresh fruit, toast and a selection of Indian breakfast meals. Wi-Fi was poor but was available. The hotel was in a good position Fri restaurants, and a short walk to the beautiful Sunset beach. Would definitely recommend but don't expect too much, the hotel is a little tired and in need of TLC.... More

    The hotel is in need of a major refit. Bedding stained and grey, towels were a good size but like sandpaper and filthy looking. Breakfast was limited but Rocky the waiter couldn’t do enough to help us, he worked really hard. The room floors were clean but the passageways upstairs were never washed in the 3 weeks we stayed. Bathroom left a lot to be desired, glad I took a cloth to clean surfaces myself. The room doors were very off putting, we thought there had been a recent break in and they were quick fix but these are actually how the doors are for whatever reason. Dogs next door bark continually day and night. Pool was lovely but only 5 sunloungers of very poor quality and very little room for them. Totally agree with the other reviews about the WiFi yet there was no problem with it down at the shacks on the beach. This hotel has so much potential but needs money spending on it and definitely some of the staff need proper training. We witnessed 2 of the staff skiving on numerous occasions putting more work on their colleagues.... More

Overview

Tryst with Nature is complete if the stay is in this 3 Star hotel at Betalbatim. Its rustic coloured building comprises arcaded verandahs with concrete jalis, and houses 18 deluxe rooms with private balconies. A morning dip in the swimming pool rejuvenates mind, body and soul.   1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
